We usually reach slightly (sometimes far too much) just to make sure we get our guy. Hoping this is no different. If he is who we want then take him at 12

Over 8 league games, avg 11.3K, 6.75H, 4.13T (inc best of 31D and 7T)

Elijah Hewitt
Over 9 league games, avg 8K, 5.55H, 2.11T (best of 18D, 0T and a goal)

Now I'm not a WAFL watcher and I know Green is 4cm shorter, but that's a fair difference!!!

Allan has the biggest upside out of anyone based on what? His draft combine? Have any of you actually watched him play?

Allan is a genuine squib, I do not see him translating to AFL level as an inside midfielder, I do not want to draft a utility type player who’s a better athlete than footballer with pick 9 or 13 personally.

He’s not 4CM shorter, he’s 8CM shorter and is only 70KG, that’s a huge difference.

Also you’ve done very well to cherry pick there brother, Hewetts best game was 20 touches and a goal and he was better at league level than Steely was, you can’t just look at numbers.

Steely had 2 good league games and a bunch of okay ones, very similar to Hewett, but Hewetts skill set is so much better.

I would love Poo/MacKenzie/Clark with our first. I would prefer Hewett with our second, unless the club knows he will slide to the second round. I figure two mids is enough -sounds like there are some OK small forwards/HFF or rucks later.

Hopefully it’s Tsatas (Ess), Humphrey (GC), Ginbey (Haw), Buss (Geelong) leaving us with one of Clark, Mackenzie or Phillipou. Hard to stuff that up. One of them and Hewett at 12 and we’d have smashed it.

Very intriguing. Although I do remember last year when everyone thought Hawks might take Matt Johnson and that never happened.

My apologies the the error on height, but not being in WA I can only go by the numbers I can find as far as stats go.

And I'm not for one second saying WC should pick Green over Hewitt and I did say Green would be a good HF prospect in an earlier post compared to Hewitt being an outright mid prospect.

But from what I can see, Green has a better kick and is more prolific with both feet. He definitely doesn't have Hewitt's hands, speed or body but for our 4th pick or rookie with his numbers, Green is being overlooked by many I think.

Don’t think it would have in hindsight. Essendon are trying to trade pick 4 and can’t get shit for it. We got in early and set the market and now people are realising 2 mid first rounders is a whole lot better than a single top 10 pick
