You'd be surprised about freo's salary cap I rekn. It was no secret that hurn, jk, NN took massive pay cuts at the end of 2018. Their 1 year deals would be even less now I'd imagine.

It really only leaves TK, Gaff and Gov on the big money.

I think Hogan was reportedly on $800k+, Lobb was around the $600k mark. Plus Fyfe, Walters, Mundy and whatever coin they spilt to keep their 10x first rounders.

I love Melbourne. Lived on the mornington peninsula for 3 years before moving to Sydney, then back to Brisbane last year.

Having said that, I probably like Brisbane the most but that's likely because I grew up in Tassie after we moved there when I was a kid, so Brisbane still doesn't feel like a massive rat race.

Helps that I live 2kms from the CBD and still only pay $380pw for a decent sized apartment. You'd struggle to get a studio for less than double that price in Sydney so close to the cbd.

Horses for courses bruz, but I would hate to live 2km from the CBD . Out in the country I've purchased a house and my mortgage is much less than that
