First you said we were going to Perth to see Pyke, then to Brisbane to see Aish, then Odonnel then Caro gives you a scrap or tidbit and you run with Caracella as a possibility. Then you say its probably Pyke but will be anounced next week, likely Tuesday and then BAM. Major trolling by the AFC, brilliant! Love that we control when our news gets out. Having a club run like a professional business beats the hell out of the Keystone Cops we were used to.

I've enjoyed Shutts work this year in controlling when we release information to hit the media cycle at the best time. With this announcement today, the football news on the channels tonight will be our new appointment, all the Saturday football radio shows will want interviews with him or Fagan etc, so once again putting our club at the forefront of the football discussions.

Very happy with that video - mainly because Don (or should that be Pykey?) talked about continuing the good work rather than talking about upholding legacies or dropping Phil's name.

Just read his CV too. Not much he hasn't done in footy - and another coach with decades experience in a range of roles before becoming head coach.
