Have spoken to a couple of players. They're keen. Good sign.
They were with Sando too.........

But no it always brings a buzz about the place. A few guys would be seeing it as a great opportunity to press their claims.
 
Don Pyke has a strong name you can see going down in history as a premiership coach.

Malcolm Blight had one too. So did Phil Walsh.

I think this time around there is a bit more reason to be excited. Pyke was a Strategy coach for a side who vastly outperformed most predictions on the back of their tactical work, whereas Sando came from a side that we weren't really capable of replicating and he didn't appear to be a great tactician.

Saying that most of us loved Sando early on so I will hold judgement for now.
 
I've heard some general comments about Don Pyke - all good. Unfortunately I don't know anything specific. Any main focus Pyke has? Main strategies or themes? I am all ears.

But that aside, I can only hope that finally the time has come to sort out the playing list....
