Last time I checked it takes a few more blokes to field a team. Nothing against Boundy, I don't know him personally and I have been assured he is a cracking footballer, but its going to be hard to soar to great heights with a bunch of turkeys hanging around your neck.

If Boundy came to back to our club we'd be shouting from the roof top as well. He's a fantastic player & will add so much to the dynamics of Paradians, bringing some "turkeys" into the game

Interesting to see Eltham have their 3 Bendigo Bomber recruits playing yesterday. Would be nice to a 6ft 4 player playing on the wing

Was a good day for the turtles, but I haven't missed a training session and played on satday and didn't/haven't seen 3 bendigo bombers players in our team/club

The opposition was seriously d4 standard tho, I think south morang would have to struggle in any league this year!!!

Reports from banyule vs mernda game was that they are gonna be the team to beat looking tall and strong bodied!!

It sounds like all clubs have done well recruiting and it's gonna be tough to get wins week in week out!!!

Bentleigh's practice game vs. Heatherton got called off! Bit shattering seeing the conditions were perfect for a game of footy.

Have Parade at parade this Saturday and will be interesting to see how we fair!

Down at westbourne i can clear some specualtion RE players in. Couple of good sized bodies looking fit and ready and spots will be hard to come by for all so plenty of figthing to get a round 1 gurensy.

As to who will click with who though still remains to be seen as cricket season just comes to a close and this week will be the first week 99% of blokes are ready for our practice match.

Mal Michael is a new one to me, Courtney Johns' name was thrown around in December last year, but have not seen either of them. I'm usually the last to hear about these sort of things, maybe I should come to you when I need to to know something

Just Googled "Mal Michael 2010" and it suggested that he had signed for Heywood somewhere in the country.

As mentioned in another post, Glen Eira had an excellent hit out against Old Mentonians on the weekend. Evan more promising was the improvement of the Reserve side that won by 4 goals. Whilst Mentonians had a few out of their Round 1 line up and played a few unders, its a good sign for the Saints as it looks as though we may finally have some depth.

Down near the bottom but their recruiting over the summer has been massive. They will be the team to beat in D1.

not travelling too bad at the moment. new coach is working us hard. picked up a few and lost a few, same as most clubs i suppose.
