Donovan has been seriously underdone this year, but my sources tell me he had a falling out with some latrobe boys earlier in the year after an incident with a bar and no beer. He beleives that he is more than capable of getting some game time at blues and may not be far off the mark. Looking forward to how it all pans out. Does anyone have any info about him training at blues yet??

He is out for a few weeks with some form of knee complaint. Blues put in for the transfer end of last week

What all arguments are caused over i thought.. Cant have a bar "WIF NO FROFFIES!!! BAAAAAAAAAARGH!" He should just change teams in D3, come play for uni high, we always have beer... on tap usually.. It would make for an interesting game against latrobe. Completely unrelated, i never realised how much being on the long term injury list sux.

Will be interesting how you Uni guys go next time you play la trobe in the post-game waterfall race. They gave us a spanking last time (only the drinking) some big boys who love to drink too much by the look of things down there.

So is anybody from Eltham or Hawthorn going to give us a report of the weekends game? What happened? Were Eltham bad, or was Hawthorn good? Seems like a bigger margin then most people probably predicted.

Eltham are too often giving sides a big start...Coach cannot possibly play FF and know what is really happening in the middle, backline etc...Holly-boy, go to the bench and promote someone from the magoos to play. (It's called future development.) Hawthorn had (past tense) a very strong, effective full forward in Ogge. He went mising, presumably injured, having done much damage to the Eltham defense. Takes a big strong fullback to beat him. After that, any other FF they have is probably risky at best. Big Dan has been injured or sulking.(Who knows?) They will send plenty of ball forward if Pirate is getting lots of palm on the ball! But, it's Hawthorn, I know I know, who cares? They will probably only frustate their "supporters" yet again. Let's see, one flag 10 years ago in F grade (created to accomodate teams who were not competitive in the E grades of the 90's!) Pity they could do no more than gain promotion from D4 in 2006! Oh, to Saturdays game. Eltham were somewhat innaccurate at goal for a change. Maybe because of it being played on such a small ground?

They can only concur methinks! Coach Hollywood may be observing his self imposed Big Footy curfew?

Maybe i scared the little fella off the last time we exchanged on bigfooty b4 i broke my leg ;).. Didnt even get the flowers he sent me, shattered.. Looking forward to seeing the Wicks v Uni this weekend, should be a good game..

Many reasons to our poor performance on Saturday, that will be addressed on the track not on BigFooty sorry guys. We Lost a few key position players and although our 2's guys have always stepped up well to cover them in the past we just didn't have anyone to cover Ogge (who was on fire with 6 goals) We pretty much controlled the next 3 quarters of the game apart from the score board but it was all over on their at 1/4 time. Never playing the Hawks before or the ground or anything didn't help but if we play like that at home then there will problems, but as for now, theres nothing to worry about losing an away game to team sitting 2nd? It about how we bounce back from that??

Willy at home is our main focus now..

Word around the traps is that Willy have sacked the bloke doing the kick-outs from the ressies last week ... wasn't up to their usual standards ... actually he'll be fighting not to be rotated out this week!!!

Dogmat, I think you might need to do a "hutchy" and check your sources on that one. Word that I've received is that the kick outs were nothing short of spectacular and that a captain by the name of whoppers may be permanently relived of the responsibility........
