I said on another thread

Danger's pre-season form has been excellent however NAB cup games is all about your own team and not the opposition

With this in mind come round 1 there is no more freedom that has been offered to him and he will need to deal with a hard tag which he will need to learn how to deal with better than he has in previous seasons

I'm also taking a long term view that hopefully we have 250 quality games from Milera coming out way

Milera not yet getting the disposal count of a Danger however he makes every touch count and when he starts to get the big numbers he is going to be scary damaging

Lowden > Dangerfield anyway

He's gone
That's it
Just another opposition player

Apart from Gunston ( who is in a team that would make ME look good) the other players that have left have pretty much dun nuthin '

That said - I have already backed him for the Brownlow just in case !:D

I actually couldn't agree more with this.
Even yet, I am going out on a limb to say that having Gunston leave for the Hawks will has hurt more then Danger heading to the Cats. At least Gunston has gone on and won 3 flags for the Hawks, yet I don't think Danger will help the Cats much in the premiership window.

I thought this thread was about patty having trouble starting that family.
Or frustrated watching Dangerfield bomb the ball straight to the opposition...

Will be a good player for the cats, but got the feeling he will have Buckley like success once he moved.

Looks ready to take his game to another level

I agree Colonel. That was always going to happen IMO as he has gone through all of his development phase and now has reached football maturity where his ceiling gets to a very high level - and is more consistently reached.

Barring injury he's a very good chance to win the Brownlow. I expect him to be Geelong's best player more often than not, and for them to win more games than they lose.

It doesn't over excite me but it is what it is. He's gone.

Our enjoyment will come in watching the development of 2 stars of the future in Brad Crouch and Milera.

now that does excite me. :)

The kicking bit is all of a sudden overstated. His field kicking is not elite but its good enough and damaging enough. His set shots at goal are very very good. I would still rather have a midfielder that "can't" kick but brings everything else to the table lik Dangerfield than not have one.

Fyfe is not a great kick either but I certainly wouldn't say no to havin Fyfe in my team. It tells us just how elite these guys are in other aspects of the game if they can't kick.
Well I should say erratic kick rather than can't kick but I don't really agree with the rest. He's a better set shot than field kick, but I think that dropped off in the last few seasons here too. A long way off 'very very good' IMO.
Make no mistake, not saying we are better off without him in 2016, and I'd prefer that he stayed a crow. However crow or cat, his disposal is sloppy.

Sat next to a Geelong fan who also has a soft spot for the Crows at a function last night. He was telling me all about Dangerfield's game v Freo.

I said "so that's twice he's been best on ground in a losing side? Get used to it".

He laughed but his eyes were worried.

They do already look a bit like "the danger show and friends" already

He looks tip top but everything seems to be geared around him on field and off

Remarkable, really, given the club's very recent mission statement: "team first". They've taken to the one-player team very quickly.
