Re: Jolly a Pie

Great result, but now with only pick 30 in the first 3 rounds, does anyone else get the feeling we will be trading an established player to get back into the draft in a meaningful way? Particularly if #30 is used on Luke Ball.

Re: Jolly a Pie

Yay! now me might be able to win the hitouts once in a while

Re: Jolly a Pie

great pick up for your club. Jolly has good durability (Touch Wood...not Cam)

Swanny, Pendles and Beams, maybe Ball will be chomping at the bit from all Jollys Taps.

Look forward to Cox v Jolly mark 2

Re: Jolly a Pie

wont be suprised if Leon is offloaded for pick 7.... pick 30 and player for luke ball as the saints have lost 2 picks so far so they wont say no to a pick

Re: Jolly a Pie

Darren Jolly & Cameron Wood rotating in the ruck, I like! Josh Fraser hmmm..... ? were to with him, trade bait or a possible leading forward/crumber?
Fraser will be used on the wing, a tall running, skillful option who can drop into the holes in both the forward & back line.
He'll be doing a lot of running work to build his tank over the summer.

Re: Jolly a Pie

I think the pies also have some more future dealings before trade period is over.

Don't think Hine will want to go into this draft without a pick in the top 20. Don't be supprised to see a player offloaded for a high draft pick.

Ball trade hopefully will be completed by Friday also.

Can anyone else get the SEN listen online to work?

Re: Jolly a Pie

FANTASTIC NEWS PIES !!!!!!!!!!! Welcome aboard Darren Jolly now that was worth the wait hey . swanny pendles daisy etc would be licking there fingers already for the first tap round 1 ........ BRING IT ON yaeh

Re: Jolly a Pie

Good news, i still think we gave too much away for him I hope he is worth it. Happy we landed a good player. Now they should swap a couple of players for ball or pick 30 and a player!

Re: Jolly a Pie

I'm glad it's done.

I really dont think we needed to give away our third rounder though as Sydney would have folded and just taken 14. I'm assuming we did it to get working on Ball.

Re: Jolly a Pie

Disappointed to lose #46... are they sure we couldn't include N Brown instead?

I agree with you sampler....i dont think we will trade pick 30 now. Saints will want a few players for Ball. Also...i think we are considering Jesse Smith too from North.

I have been told this draft doesnt extend much past top 25
