The best example I can give you of a Richmond supporter re.

I'll use the Ottoman in this if I may..

You can spread dirt or dog turd on a piece of toast.. the Ottoman will be gullible enough to take a bite out of it thinking it's Vegemite.. but then spit it out and chase after ya and shit re..

Whereas a Richmond supporter.. will take a bite out of it.. know what it is.. but swallow it.. and then try and convince you it was Vegemite.. when we all know it was dog turd re.. foolish pride re.

Hope that makes things a lot easier for everyone to understand when you're dealing with Richmond supporters re.

Glad to help.

RICHMOND INJURY CRISIS CAUSE OF BRAVE LOSS

The Richmond Football Club's heroic premiership defence was ended last night on the back of a mounting injury toll which several club insiders have labelled as "catastrophic".

The brave Tigers, who were forced to deal with an unprecedented injury list this season, were dealt the knockout blow on Friday when key defender David Astbury was diagnosed with a case of the sniffles. Astbury declared himself fit to take the park, but was clearly hampered by his runny nose, having to resort to the "bushman's blow" on at least two occasions.

Brownlow medallist Dustin Martin was similarly down on his usual output, due to a bruise on his thigh that was described as "a real beauty".

The full extent of the club's injury crisis was revealed after the match, when it came to light that defender Alex Rance was battling a bad case of the Mondays which he hadn't been able to shake all week, and captain Trent Cotchin still hadn't fully recovered from Trump being elected.

"It's unfair," one club official said. "We just can't catch a break with these injuries. We've clearly been the best team all season, but we can't be expected to compete without our best team on the park."

Compounding the Tigers' medical woes were the absences of superstars Mabior Chol (sore foot), Shai Bolton (sore knee), and Nathan Drummond (general soreness), all of whom would have swayed the contest in the Tigers' favour.

Collingwood will go into the Grand Final injury-free, having still not beaten any team of note this season.

Sorry for intrusion,
Congratulations on the win, completely outplayed on the night. I thought Grundy was the match winner and Steele most underrated player in the game.
We wouldn't be human if we weren't jealous, but our coach Dimma represents most Richmond supporters, who are humble, passionate but can also praise the opposition unlike ie. C.Scott. I thought it was a class act by Hardwick to congratulate Buckley and console Varcoe in the rooms. Enjoy the week..

Thanks mate, I'm sorry for the humble Richmond fans as I've seen Collingwood lose their fair share of finals and grand finals and it's not nice, really feel for you but for the cocky ones they can suck it. Hardwick is all class but as we all know every team has their big mouth cocky, embarrassing supporters that can't handle losing.

I'm young and it seems to me the older tiger and pies fans are the least cocky as they've seen games of heartbreak and upsets for years and they never forget the bad times even when things are going good.

I'm sure you'll come back stronger than ever with Tom lynch in the side.

Cheers

Agree.
We bag them for their arrogance, (after they won the flag).
We're doing the same and haven't won anything.

We aren't being arrogant, we are simply telling their (mostly arrogant) supporter base and club to SUCK A FAT ONE! Which is what they deserve after the last 18 months of crap.

No ones saying flags in the bag or other such things, only how sweet it is sticking it up that club.

When people have posted like you have, as far as l am concerned you are welcome back anytime, and l agree with your post.
Your coach was very humble and gracious, and l have total respect for him doing that. He is a good bloke, and sometimes when we are tribal we don’t necessarily see that in other clubs people

Yiayia always said to me re, "when you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig. But try convincing a Richmond malaka of this".

Your yiayia must have known mine re. They imparted wisdom on all us childrens re.

P.S. ottoman check your Nanna doesn't chuck mayonnaise with the vegemite when she runs out of butter. Fair dinkum tastes worse than a dog's turd's turd.

A Wanniassa Smasha!

Nice. Lived there for a few years.
Wanniassa is gonna be rocking next Saturday.
Have 22 coming round for barbie lunch and then a few drinky poos while we watch the Mighty Pies take on the Wet Toast boys.
Couple of Tiges supporters in there too, tail between legs. Might make em watch the full 4 hour replay first.

Hopefully followed by a few more drinky poos and massive nudey run.

Go Pies!:thumbsu:

You notice how you have not been reported, unlike your page where anyone from any other club gets reported for just being there.

There's a thread on the Tigers board with the excuse that Gastro was rampant through the club during the week. Ashbury looked not up for it but you'd think that it was a case of Ebola running through their list the way their fans have gone on about it.

I do feel a bit like Cartman when reading their board.

But cheering injuries was always a no no. So thanks football gods because I think you served some Karma to Tiger71 in particular.

One man's gastro is another man's shitting of the pantaloons!

Congratulations on your 15 minutes in the sun

But the Pies were, are and forever will be biggest and best club in Australia.
To be fair to the players and football department, lead by Hardwick, they were incredibly humble throughout and very sporting in defeat. Watched the replay today Higgins telling the umpire that he hadn’t kicked a goal on the line prior to review, and particularly when they were within striking distance was incredible honest and showed a great deal of integrit. Rare traits in today’s age
