You saw through my hyperbole :(, although I'd argue the downgrade in the first round (an obviously, the most influential) is substantial, particularly considering what we received in return.

In theoretical terms it would be substantial.
As the draft stands at the moment it may have no bearing (as has been specified again and again).
So even though generally pick 6 to pick 11 is a significant downgrade this year it is reportedly not as big.

This is one of the more less talked about players in the draft pool. Massive kid from Albany with a huge boot on him. Only played in Perth for the first part of the season. My guess is he's a rookie prospect but he was highly ranked and stood out early in the season.

Wow. Most of his highlights are him taking possession, bursting away from opponents half his size and coolly hitting a target.

Worth a late draft pick even (49)?

That's kind of what needs to happen before the deal becomes fair though...

Id say 150+ games for Yeo and a B+ grade inside mid and we win. However if pick #6 becomes the second coming of Ablett we loose regardless...

Boda... Small technical point but at least 3,452,367 people on BF have explained to you the difference between lose and loose over your long journey here ....

If you won't learn about footy at least pick up some rudimentary spelling tips :p

"I'm sure West Coast would have maybe two or three players bracketed that could come through to pick six and I'm making the assumption that one of those three players would be there at what is essentially pick 10 given McDonald is a father-son selection."

Derek Hine quote.

If we were truly set on Sheed you wouldnt have thought wed do the trade. Interested to see who we rate along as equal to sheed because its seems hes only an outside chance to slip to 11

I agree in that sense (by virtue of the draft evening out beyond the first 6), although with Bontempelli and Kolodjashnij catching the attention of the two expansion cubs recently, there is now a very decent chance of a top prospect sliding to 6. (I fully expect to face-palm come draft day when a Scharenberg, Kolodjasnij or Billings is available at Collingwood's pick 6). We've practically traded ourselves out of this vantage point when more suitable, alternative avenues were available to secure Yeo.

I'm trying to reason a conclusion that doesn't suggest we got bent over again. If you can enlighten me, please.
