Fair opinion, but who do we look at then? What is available to us? What would we be prepared to pay? We have no currency besides players we do not want to part with. The rest are worth very little in the real world outside the Eagles bubble.

To be honest, I think I'm different to a few on here. I'd be happy for us to concentrate on the draft first and foremost. I don't think we're in a premiership window yet so trading in fringe players, unless they're significantly improving a part of our team for 5+ years just doesn't interest me all that much. Until we fix up our midfield and develop a better game plan, I don't think fringe players are going to add much for us at the moment.

Betts: an excellent full-time forward pocket, who could add to our forward line, but may in fact weaken our team overall by occupying a position in the side at the expense of a midfield rotation.

I saw him in the middle bounces throughout the season, in particular towards the end and in the finals. Did pretty good too...

I think this has merit. On the other hand we still lack speed though...

See here is a potential low cost, high value add situation. Therefore we won't do it.
Has he been talking to Freo?? I recall hearing that somewhere.
Starting an assignment at trade time is bad news.

So is trying to finish an assignment at trade time :(
I've got one due next week, but I've pretty muych finished that.. will just be a touch up and submit. This one is contract law ... undue influence, unconscionability, etc ..

Ellis : injury-prone fringe player. He's not going to improve our list, even if he can get on the park.

Jetta: another fringe player that may add incremental improvement.

Betts: an excellent full-time forward pocket, who could add to our forward line, but may in fact weaken our team overall by occupying a position in the side at the expense of a midfield rotation.

None of these players meet our needs.
Get out of my brain.
