Gee I really like both Duggan and Cockatoo.

Is Duggan a future inside mid at AFL level? That is my only concern. There is only so much highlights packages can tell you.
In my opinion no. I still think his best position will be on a hbf at afl level. If not wing. He's just not a natural inside mid at U18 level and its a pretty big step up size wise at AFL level. Unless he grows a few more cm's and then puts on KG's i think he will be undersized as an inside mid and he doesn't have the natural inside instinct to make up for it. Thats my opinion though others may disagree.

Fair enough. Most of his highlights are him receiving on the outside but that being said, most highlights packages are that way inclined anyway. If Duggan was able to develop into a high production midfielder though then we would seriously have a player on our hands.

Looks wasted on a HBF.
On his TAC Cup highlights he was dynamic around the stoppages and in congestion.
If we weren't going to get him for that attribute I would prefer other players at our pick.

Duggan looks like a solid bet to make it and we need as much quality as we can get but geez I'd really love to add some serious dash and excitement to our mundane side. Would be a real shame if Pickett isnt available (which appears likely). Hopefully we deem Cockatoo worthy.

I'd love a **** or Two.

No homo.

TBH i think we'll take duggan. With waterman, sheed and shuey as primary extractors with selwood as a defensive mid we have a starting centre 4 midfield that could be very good in about 3 years time. No-one we draft this year is going to change our midfield around straight away. I hold high hopes for Yeo but not as high as others. I see him potentially as a more athletic david mundy rather than a Nat fyfe. (which is still bloody good for us in the future) We are now light on outside players and while i see the allure of Cockatoo, if pickett is gone i think duggan is the man. (not saying duggan is my choice but just who i think we'll pick)

What are you saying? Are you getting tired of reading the same thing on here everyday.
Ooo that Pickett looks good
He won't be there
How bout that cockatoo highlights video
Duggan
De Goey
Talls
Big bodied midfielders

Jarrod Pickett looks pretty good for out first pick, reckon he'll be available?

Saints taking him with their first. Possibility that petracca might slide to our pick

Newton officially signed with the Dees.

Doesn't leave a whole lot in the DFA pool
Newton signing with Melbourne was pretty much as expected wasn't it

Lucas remains the only one I think we might be interested in but there's been no press linking him to us for a while now that I know of.

If wce were looking for the outside attacking player besides Pickett gone and Cockatoo then I would take Ahern ahead of Duggan .

This draft seems very even as far as quality is concerned from picks 12 to pick 32.

In hindsight maybe we could have traded down and swapped pick 11 to Essendon for picks 17 and 20 or to St Kilda for picks 21 & 22.

We could have still been in the mix to pick up Cockatoo, Garlett, Blakley, De Goey and maybe Smith at 32.
The Rainbow at 51 and Waterman with our last. So eliminate the use of pick 69 in the process.

Who's dreaming?

Naitanui to Cockatoo will be a sight to behold for many years.
Even better if the ball passes through a rainbow on the way
