Wallace on Fox

Says the club focused on the NAB game against Brisbane as a sign that they can do things well.
Referred to the article today that said those who want to compete will get games. Spoke about Tambling missing out due to Hamstring tightness (not a tear)
Asked about King tagging Ablett, very coy.
Asked about Couins, says he should be back by round 4, more like 5.
Says we only laid 2 less tackles than Geelong last week. Says it was more worrying that we turned the ball over.
Hinted that a number of changes will be made to our starting line up with youngsters likely to start up forward.
Says that he knows Lids will be in for a tough game against Ling, hopes he can overcome this and have an impact.

For those who aren't watching on Fox, seems fairly windy down at Geelong today with the breeze blowing straight down the ground towards the left of screen. Would be nice to get first use of it and put some scoreboard pressure on them.

RT Mitchell Brown wasnt listed as playing :S, So what happens now. Do geelong = get another player or, I'm totally confused at the moment :p.

No they don't it was just one of their VFL players who is a good prospect so it's unlucky for him.

Feeling more nervous for the boys than I thought I would be. Feel like if we can come out and get on top early anything could happen but unlikely we could run with them for the full 4 quarters. Also hope we are competitive as a big smashing could absolutely dent the first gamers confidence which can be a thing that takes some time to overcome.

Polo playing and we're kicking with the wind in the first quarter. Time to step up to the plate boys and earn some respect back.

A good sign Rooke missing from 15m out almost directly in front, which is followed up by us turning it over on the kick out.
