Got told there in a fair bit of debt and that at the agm only a secretary was selected. And that the coach called 50 of there blokes and 35 nit comming back

Spare me. Most VAFA clubs near the Kangas (Rovers, Old Brighton, Beauy, Parkdale, St Bedes) are B grade ammos. Div 3 SFL blokes would not get anywhere near it at that level. Would have to be a club in much lower ranks if true.
Moorabbin have fallen on hard times before and I’m sure they will survive. But having said that I often wonder how so many clubs can survive in such close proximity to each when only a few of them have a direct junior feeder.

I believe they actually merged with another local club to form the Box Hill (now Whitehorse) Pioneers and play the 3rd div of the EFL.
Not sure merging is an option for the Kangas. Hope they can survive but only so many players to around and with stronger clubs nearby it's a constant battle.

What a load of crap.
I was at the AGM so I can pretty much dismiss every lie you're trying to peddle.
Club made a tidy profit for the year, plus existing COH means we have 10k+. No outstanding invoices, fully up to date with payments to SFL. So there is no debt and we are far from broke. New committee was nominated & appointed with 3 new faces.
The coming year has seen 2 more major sponsors come on board, plus we have the added financial bonus of East Brighton playing their first 4-5 home games at our oval (due to theirs being resurfaced).
We have lost 1 player to St. Marys. We have lost 3 players to Chelsea Heights, one of which is Matty Jo. The other two did not even finish top5 in our B&F, in fact one didn't even poll a vote. If I was trying to win my way back to div1, I wouldn't be trying to do it by recruiting div3 players.
In their place we have recruited strongly from div1 & EFL div3, with a focus on youth. A new senior coach from outside of the club has been appointed who has coached to 3 previous flags and is driving our push for more youth. This is a switch from our previous direction of appointing former players (D.Osbaldeston, D.Stynes & A.Walsh).
Good to see most of you on here are smart enough to see through the scuttlebutt. See you all round 1.

Well Mr Balls why hasn't the club come out and named the coach and why was there no noms on the committee when called for and has your previous president gone to a rival D3 club.

The senior coach is David Velt. He was named as the senior coach on November the 16th.
How do you know there were no nominations? I personally sat there a week & a half ago and seconded (some of) the nominations. Were you there? If not, I suggest you clam up and stop trying to stir up shit.
Last time I checked this is a free country and anybody - be it a player or a President - is entitled to switch clubs if they choose to!

So the former Pres has gone to CPL that's a fact and your first AGM in October was cancelled due to lack of numbers that's a fact.
So what? BOS has clearly explained everything, and dismissed your rubbish in his previous post. Maybe go back and read it again.

Can't believe a few of you have got sucked into "shitallround" a poster suspended twice in 4 posts. His nickname means a lot so don't get sucked into him. Newbie from Doveton or Lyndhurst so don't give him anything until he builds some cred. The bloke has no idea about anything, just pumping crap.
Moorabbin will be ok, some positives coming out of there as well At Hallam , Lyndale and Sandown
I had Ashwood on the move however if they have recruited Falc10 then obviously going backwards. Not sure the more embarrassing, that photo or Britney Spears getting out of the cab with no knickers. End of day they had the same thing on display.

Lyndale only need one positive. The great man training the house down and even doing extra sessions over the break. 100 isn't out of reach for him this year.
You're stating facts that are irrelevant. You may as well say the sky is blue while you're at it. So the agm was postponed and our previous president has left. Again, so what? The previous president stepped up last year to help out the club. He lives a long way from the club, and with work and family commitments changing this year, he just wants to have an occasional kick, when time permits, closer to home. Hardly the conspiracy you're trying to make it out to be. These and similar scenarios play out every year at most clubs.
All the information you need that is currently relevant to Moorabbin has been clearly spelled out already.
