If it is concussion related then it’s concerning. For both he and the club. Hopefully it’s managed as it should be.

1. Just needs to play. He’s had injuries and concussion and no continuity.

2. Needs help in the ruck so he doesn’t get beaten up. Don’t care who it is.

Good to take the 4 points but in the end the result was deflating. Had Saints kicked straight the game would have gone down to the wire and that would have been an almost capitulation.
The ruck situation continues to be an issue: English is way off and Sweet is very one dimensional.
Bruce may need to go back to the VFL to find some touch.
First 3 quarters very good with high pressure on the opposition. To be competitive against the teams we play soon, that effort must be sustained for 4 quarters.

Buku in defence didnt look terrible, and he doesnt panic under pressure either.

We did bring in a few blokes in from the VFL off a 5 day break, couple that with Ryder going off, any wonder Saints looked like a different team in the last quarter, annoying but we've put away teams comfortably over the last 24 months so I'm not too phased. If you had told me before the game we were going to win by 5 goals I would've taken it any day of the week.

I like Garcia and West in the side. Genuine hard campaigners like Clay Smith. Gard’s was good tonight. Our defence looked to have improved with Buku down there, he looks very solid.

Buku might be the intercept defender that we desperately require. Still need a genuine KPD to stand the monster forwards which Saints don't have
