If gaff hasnt signed by trade week this year put on the table and trade him to a cellar dwellar club in melbourne for there early pick. Dont take a risk in keeping him and him walking later on when out of contract to a say essendon or carlton etc. If the guy doesnt want to sign then trade him i say.Tough love is sometimes the best love. Great news on the others but gaff is a glaring ommision

Some of the posts in this thread (and board) in relation to Gaff are plain stupid. It appears as though whenever the Eagles release any information in relation to contracts and Gaff isn't signed for life it means that he is sure to be leaving us at the end of next year.

Get a grip for God's sake. Great news on the other 3, I hope that Embley's is only 1 year. He seems to play better when he's playing for his future.

Yeah everyone would agree on the Kennedy and Darling signings. Disagree on Embley though as despite having a few down games he has generally played well this year and deserves another year.

Good on Embers for playing well enough to get another bite at the cherry.

embley still brings class and experience to the game..obvious extension really..probably his last year..
cant think of any player who isnt shut down in a game at times (glass?)..lecca,kennedy,nicnat,cox,shuey,darling etc all have bad days at the office.
