It was said he struggled to communicate ideas to players back then with his less than perfect English. He's obviously worked on it because he speaks a lot better now

Tbh I think some of the kids on the bench would do that.

Been saying for weeks now. Our midfield is too old and too slow. Any team with a bit of pace and physicality finds us easy as anything to play through.

Maybe pep doesn't want to bring them into a losing side, but I think expecting things to change without changing tactics or personnel is crazy.

A central midfield trio of Foden, Grealish and De Bruyne/Silva can't be worse than what they've been running with lately. They'd still suffer without an anchor but may offer more weaponry.
