Hows the ladder at the start of the thread ?
About what you expect at this stage ? Bournemouth higher than I would of thought. and going well.
Spurs with Not enough Draws, like that Palace and Fulham manage to get a lot of the time . leaves them low down ladder.

Not at all what anyone would have expected.

In the ladder predictor threads I was in on other sites;
Everyone had Pool, Arse, Chelsea and City top 5 but absolutely no one had Pool games clear on top and City in 5th.
Most had a team LIKE Bournemouth in 7th, but it was usually Fulham/Brentford/BHA.
Everyone had Soton and Ipswich bottom 3.
No one had United AND Spurs both outside the top 10, most guessed it would be one or the other sitting in 9th/10th.

No one had a team in the bottom half of the table doing what Forest has done and rocketing to top 4. If Pool wasn't so far ahead, this would be one of the most interesting seasons in the EPL.

If you swapped Liverpool (games ahead in 1st) and Man City's (5th, less than 2 points per game) positions the top 5 and it's order would just have the one big surprise: Nottingham.

Nottingham, Bournemouth and Liverpool are the 3 sides that are at least a few places higher than most expected.

So two surprises in the top 5 and then Bournemouth also doing far better than would be expected. United, for all their flaws, are still far lower than people would have thought, and I'd say Chelsea are also doing a lot better than people expected. Spurs very low too. In reality there's a lot of surprises.

Yeah I didn't say it wasn't a surprise, I was simply noting the 2 major surprises that are there. It seemed like a fair and balanced statement. Keep in mind I was referring to the top 5, not the whole league table. I've gone back and bolded that for you.

Depending on how much mileage you get out of the number 2, it certainly could be "a lot" of surprises in the top 5 places.

I think people thought Villa might be doing a bit better too.
I had Villa finishing 5th or 6th this year, they have been a wee bit worse than I expected them to be.
Their current position isn't bad given they're juggling CL football - a few points off 4th. But a negative goal difference is surprising and suggests results have outran performances.

Michael Oliver cant help himself against Arsenal can he
We need to do to Oliver and England what Liverpool did with England and make so much noise the league can't have him officiate their matches.

Another week, another imaginary red card that won't ever get paid again just like last time Michael Oliver officiated Wolves/Arsenal and Martinelli got two yellow cards for one passage of play.

Corrupt.

A straight red for that? Tell me again how Michael Oliver doesn't have it out for Arsenal? Absolutely disgraceful. Thats not a red in any stretch of the word.

Darren England and Michael Oliver need to be ****ing banned from Arsenal games.

as soon as I saw he was the ref I cashed out my bet

entirely predicable outcome, surprised it took him 40 minutes

wtf is even that? It’s clearly a tactical yellow. Didn’t even go studs in.
Yikes!
