Just seen the Arsenal red card. Looked like a trip from the wide angle which would be a yellow, but then another angle showed clear studs halfway up the leg. So a nailed on red card.

I understand he just meant to trip him but he got it wrong and caught him high with his studs. The fact that it was cynical with no attempt to play the ball probably didn’t help him get any benefit of the doubt either
