Quantity doesn't equal quality......
Surely you jest...

The only one not quality in that exchange is the headcase Fev. You guys get Hay, O'Keefe and a 1st Round Pick, plus get to see off Fev.
The deal is WIN/WIN/WIN/WIN for Carlon. And losses all round for the others.

That is terrible. Annabelle summed it up.

Firstly - We would not trade O'Keefe.
Secondly - We do not want Ries.

A third round pick, plus first round pick for Everitt might be fair. But it will not involve O'Keefe (Who is close to signing)

nope coz he is better then ottens and look what ottens cost

Everitt will be 32 at the start of next season.

Everitts original trade was a first round plus early second round. That was with a five year career, which he no longer offers.

Fev will stays at Carlton in 2006 so i say he's a no trade deal its ok to ask but not takies ;) why would he go to another club who finished 3rd last??? wouldb;t he better off a side whos higher up hawthorn and C'wood why would he go there their no way close to a finals appearance either .

Here is the deal I've only been informed about moments ago, Swans and Blues are very keen for it to go ahead.

Everitt and Ries To Sydney

Sydney's 3rd round pick to Hawthorn, Okeefe and 1st round pick to Carlton

Hawthorn trade Jon Hay to Carlton

Carlton trade Fevola to Hawthorn

What Each club gets:

Sydney
Everitt
Ries

Carlton
Hay
Okeefe
1st round pick

Hawthorrn
Sydneys 3rd round pick
Fevola

Apparently according to my sources this deal is highly likely to go ahead. I think all clubs come out of it ok, but not the best. What do others think of this likely to happen deal?

Lazy Sunday. not much going on, so you thought you post this little Gem.
Hawks give up Spida to get Fevola. Go back to sleep mate, you're dreaming.

My sentiments exactly, who finds out these things at 8.30 am on a sunday?
Hecks isnt saying who told him, so its just another lie come trade week.

this is coming from the same person who said pick 7 and welsh for thug brown.

lmfao

Hi guys just got off the blower to a hawthorn source and he says the club has rejected this deal, they are trying to re jig it so as it doesn't involve hay as they feel they are a good chance to secure either Polak or pick 9 through dealing with him else where. The Hawks are pushing for the blues to consider accepting a second round draft choice or michael osbourne (who apparently wants to go the brisbane) as a part of this deal. So the deal may now involve a fourth club whereby Hawthorn trade osbourne to brisbane for a second round selection. Its gaining momentum this deal and I'd expect you'll hear about it in the main stream media soon.

As a Carlton supporter I would be over the moon if that deal ever got off the ground but I couldn't imagine the Hawks ever accepting that little return for giving Hay and a 1st round pick.

FFS! Let me print this out to you in black and white:

Fevola > O'Keefe, Hay and anyone else involved in the trade.

Challenge me at your peril !!

Singularly, as in straight player for player, then maybe(and even then arguably) yes.

But we are talking all those players combined. And this "anyone else involved"
, is a 1st Round Pick.
Wake up, most Blues supporters have said they would take it and run.
It's not a strong suit for you I know, but think about it. It's highway robbery for the Blues. And the Blues only.

Carlton won't be trading fevola he wil be at carlton in 2006 + same with Whitnall
cheers lookingfoward to see them perform in 2006 for the Navy Blues hope to catch up with them at the Next Family Day :)
