Go to mcg.org.au and click on 'Virtual Tour' at the top of the page. Then go to Seating layout.
I am mad Hawk supporter and am lucky enough to be going on Saturday. If I didn't get a ticket to the game I would head to the ground at around midday with a wanted tickets sign and try my luck. Even if you have no intention of paying more than $300 or whatever the face value is there's always a chance. For eg. I don't know if it's happened the last few years but in 2008 I heard a story of a scalper giving away a heap of tickets around Richmond station. Another option is trying to give drunk corporate package patrons $200-300 for their pass. Those sh!tfaced neutrals won't care about going to the game once 2pm comes around. If everything fails than you'll be in a perfect position to head to the Punt Road or Fed Square big screens to watch the game.
Thank you very much IBB&G and MightyHawks23.
My first ever Grand Final! Can't come quick enough!
Ok, being a GF virgin I was hoping someone can ease my mind
I am only a country member so had bugger all hope of a ticket but have been given one by a mate who is an afl member to get into m20, starting to panic that I might asked for a card or something
These tickets are gifted , no money changed hands, ( I have two tickets- sorry guys bringing another mate)
All above board as this fella purchased then for other reasons just can't go
What's the chances something goes wrong, what should I look out for ?
If you get asked they will want to see an AFL membership card and id to prove it is yours.I'm in a similar situation. Are there Hawthorn members who were assigned seats in M17 to M27? If so maybe it's enough to show our Hawthorn member id?
a friend reckons ticketek rang them to say they have a ticket if they wanted it maybe they rang those that had missed out in the ballot with what was left in the swans re draw??So, does anyone know if there will indeed be a secondary Hawthorn Ballot tomorrow? Someone suggested there would be a couple of pages back

my friend is very short and they let her stand in front of the fence i reckon they maybe kind hearted for kidsPeople should be nice enough to let the little ones stand in front of the fence, not stuck behind it with the adults. We let the kids do it at the 2008 Grand Final
Sorry mate.. I was thinking of previous years and forgot about the face lift that is taking place there.I know about the Fed Square, but what's at the Punt Road thanks
I can't speak from experience as an AFL member but I highly doubt they'll be asking everyone for ID on the way through the gates. If you're that worried about it, just pick a time when it looks like there are plenty of people going though the gate and make yourself look like you belong there.Ok, being a GF virgin I was hoping someone can ease my mind

You can see the staff either outside the gate where people are queuing or next to the turnstile further in. Just need to take a look and avoid the queue/turnstile where they are checking. It's possible for them to only check a small percentage of the 20,000+ entering the members reserve. What's the chances of getting asked you reckon ?
I'm going to try and get ID checked...just to let some poor buggers through
Me and the missus will do that and hold them up for about 25 mins
