Might as well just take Boland out of the squad and let him play for Victoria. He isn't gonna play a test all summer anyways.

I doubt that. They'll rotate the four. Expect him to play Boxing Day at the very least.Might as well just take Boland out of the squad and let him play for Victoria. He isn't gonna play a test all summer anyways.
I cannot see Starc Hazelwood and Cummins playing all tests this summerMight as well just take Boland out of the squad and let him play for Victoria. He isn't gonna play a test all summer anyways.
Where he takes another 6/7I doubt that. They'll rotate the four. Expect him to play Boxing Day at the very least.
Why? What's so bad about Optus? And why did that mean you felt you had to give up your WACA membership?
Thats sad to hear shark
if it makes you feel better think the plan in the future once the WACA gets redeveloped is to have tests there against weaker pulling crowd nations and have the big ones India/England at optus
And what exactly is it that they should do? They're standing (or kneeling) in solidarity either their West Indian brothers.Because taking the knee does * all
Are the racists going to stop being racist because captain woke took a knee
Tell the players to get off their ass and do something like Rashford did
Just fake virtue signalling
They have money don't they, what did Rashford do take a knee and do **** all, no he got off his ass and ran a programAnd what exactly is it that they should do? They're standing (or kneeling) in solidarity either their West Indian brothers.
How is it fake virtue signalling? They can't force racists to stop being racist, but they can certainly take steps to show that they stand in solidarity with oppressed people.
Look up Peter Norman, and how much his actions meant to the civil rights movement.
Then look up how Peter Norman was treated upon his return to the country, and you'll see why this is necessary.
I suspect he was called names like "captain woke" too.
You also haven't actually provided a reasonable explanation as to why it bothers you so much, but your attitude towards something so harmless is pretty telling.

They can get off their ass spend some of their millions and do something actually worthwhile put the money towards an extra doctor in indigenous communities, programs to help develop Aboriginal cricket programs
How hard is to do something, they might as well change their facebook photos to be a black image like others did for BLM protests
But instead, they do the bare ******* minimum, look we support cause 'insert cause here' rather than actually do something and use their position/money and celebrity status to do something
The funny thing is that people who use the phrase "virtue signalling" are actually virtue signalling themselves. Just signalling their own virtues to those who agree with them. How do you know that they don’t?
F*** me the words ‘virtue signalling’ and ‘woke’ might as well just be replaced by the words ‘I’m upset that someone somewhere is acknowledging someone else with a small gesture that costs neither my money or my time and has no impact on my life whatsoever.’
So, uhh, exactly what they're doing. That it even has people riled up shows why it's necessary.use their position/money and celebrity status to do something
There has been no announcement of any initiatives launched till the do, it's a false empty gestureHow do you know that they don’t?

If they came out and announced such initiatives, same people would be calling it virtue signalling.Do they have to announce that they have done something?
Did they have to announce to anyone ‘we are going to have a big impact in Sri Lanka when we go in 2022’ in order to have one?
The way Peter Norman was treated upon his return to Australia was disgusting......he wasn't even invited to nor was asked to participate in the Sydney Olympics in any capacity. And what exactly is it that they should do? They're standing (or kneeling) in solidarity either their West Indian brothers.

"Something like taking a knee this week, we're doing it out of respect for the West Indies in support of equality.
"Anyone who says that's a bad thing, I'm not too bothered about."
Wise words from cummins, people getting riled about about this are just taking their masks and showing who they really are and its not a pretty picture but cummins and his side will end up on the right side of history with things like this and thats all that matters.
Who really cares take a knee or don’t, if you don’t like it just get back to having your beer like I’ll be doing
Agree, just so much of all this now that it has lost all it's meaning. Players can do what they like and what makes them feel good. Think most of it is pretty lost on the general public.
