That's a pretty potent forward line actually
No it isn't, as soon as the ball hits the ground we are screwed, the ball would come out faster then it came in with next to no pressure on the defenders.

Who knows man, who knows.

Surely Dimma was throwing up a ferfie with the whole four tall forward line thing.

We need a crumbing forward and unless they play Shedwards in the !50 the whole time, we got nuffing!

Another thing that shits me, assuming King gets up and plays. I really wish they would stop kicking it to him in a one on one contest, FFS that is not his role and 9/10 times it's a complete waste. He should be at the feet of Riewoldt, Vickery and McGuane where he will add value to the side.

Does Freo have any talls in it's forward line with Pav out?

I assume Kepler plays the forward/ruck role? Then there's Mayne, and that's about it?

I'd think we'd go with Chaplin or Rance on Bradley and Grimes on Mayne?

Tall forward options cupboard is pretty bare. Options include Hannath (mainly a ruck), Smith (young fella that played against Hawks/Hale). More leftfield possibilities are Dawson, Silvagni (did ankle, on weekend so not sure if available) and even McPharlin (though I can't stand the idea of shifting him forward). Don't think Zac Clarke is available this week. I reckon we need another tall in the forward line.

Hannath would be very handy ruck backup, but isn't particularly mobile. Smith is very mobile but still very light, young and is mainly a back (but has been playing quite a bit forward in the WAFL I believe).

EDIT: Hannath and Smith seem the most likely options (to me anyway). Although Hannath played a game of WAFL on Sunday, so a Friday turnaround might be a tough ask. I reckon there's a good chance that Smith will get a run up forward.

Vlastuin in for Morris
Nahas/Edwards for King if injured.
Griffo for Chaplin if concussed, or Batch in and Rance move to Chappy's position. Griffo will kick over their zone, but hasnt played the last two vfl matches, Batch has shown better.

For what it's worth, I reckon Vlastuin (though young) would be a handy addition. Have heard he's very good contested, courageous, makes good decisions under pressure (and there'll be a bit of that) and uses the ball well. All will be handy over at Patterson's on Friday.

I know he's a young fella, but I reckon he'll do well.

Im sick of blokes bashing players after one game, assess players on form over the start of the season, one bad game should not mean they're getting dropped, you need to keep a settled lineup, not chop and change every week cause a player didn't get a touch for the last quarter or dropped a big mark, they're mistakes, humans make them.

I reckon Tigga onto Ballentine, kid will be out to prove everything and wont get sucked in by the little pest

No assignments I reckon, just let him play midfield rotes, maybe even sub.
Playing on Ballantyne might be like Conca on Milne.
