I'm not saying he won't play, he probably will. But nowhere is it official. Dimma didn't say "Vlastuin will play this week" the kid himself didn't say it. Cotch didn't say it. So I'm just wondering how a person who runs a Facebook page can accurately say "it's official" and for you to believe them without any source.
Brb, gonna go make a Facebook page titled "AFL 100% Legit News". My first post will be "Lance Franklin coming to Richmond - it's official". I'll use the same source as the other page (AKA my mind). You should definitely believe it because its posted on Facebook and has AFL News in the title

Lol if you read their posts they don't have sources. ALL of their posts are just from major news outlets. The teams aren't even picked by Tuesday morning.
Again, I never said he won't play, he probably will. I'm saying that if he is then the post will just be a major coincidence because they have no source. They read an article on the afl site where Dimma said he's in the mix.
That page also posted in the lead up to round 1 that he would make his debut then too.
And in regards to me saying I'd make a group, that's what they've done!!!!! With the exact same source as me. None.
Not sure if it could be a major coincidence if they are stating its official, by stating its official thats a big call and they would surely have some inside knowledge to call it so early "cant say they haven't" well they come across 100% sure that he's in and lets "just" say on the flip side that floss isnt in they themselves will look damn silly and myself too as taking it as gospel but lets just wait till 2moro nite when all is revealed but im having more faith than not that he'll be in....

That's fine, have faith that he'll be in because of what Dimma or cotch has said, not because of a Facebook page who regurgitates news from the major newspapers. The only way is if it's official is if someone has come out publicly and said something, or the teams have been released. And neither of those things have happened. Therefore, it's not official.

I think we select our side to our liking and let Freo worry about the match-ups... its arrogant (and some may say stupid, and I see their point) BUT at some stage we have to act like a good team, have confidence our best line-up can beat theirs, and let them do the chopping ang changing.
Now against Collingwood, no way, but an undermanned Freo in WA, would make a huge statement and huge confidence boost if we were to get the chocolates going into it like this

You have to concede though, he does need to turn it around pretty soon. If you told me he only had 3 tackles in 4 games I'd normally laugh in your face. He is one of our most important midfielders (easily in our starting 18), but on form right now he's a shadow of that

Sad to say, but if tuck can't bring to the table what he did last year, what is considered a break even (pass) mark, at what point do we say another player can provide the same or greater output.

Yeah how do we replace Tucky. Bloody tough question. Hope like hell Foley comes back 100% Conca is being groomed and starting to pull his weight. I have high hopes for Helbig still. I just worry that Tucky is so important to our side. Reminds me of what Hussey was to the Australian Cricket Team.

Nearly right WT - reckon it would be Brad Helbig, has a fair bit of mongrel in him and think he is going pretty good at Coburg.
Foley's return will be a massive boost.
Anyone know what's happening with Lonergan? He is a depth player but maybe could play Tuck's role as a tackling, inside mid.

Really hope Tucky can turn it around but if he's not winning contested ball and tackling then you have to start thinking Vlastuin, Helbig or even Arnott would give you as much or more that Tuck ATM. One thing I will say is that I reckon Tucky may be a victim of the sliding rule. He is one who used to dive at a contest head first and the rules these days dont allow that. He gave away a free for this second game and I reckon he has been scratching his head ever since (I love him but he is not the sharpest tool in the shed).
