I thought our first quarter was our best. Eagles were up for it and we matched them. Third quarter was inexplicable, coaches must reflect on why that happened as it matched our listlessness in the first two rounds, when we need to press home our advantage.
Yeah, and not great with out the ball either.
Aish great in the middle. Amiss showed a bit, Jackson and Darcy better.
Great to have Walters back.

Good to get the win, but with their injuries in the first half, we shouldn't have let them challenge us as they did in q3.
What was good to see, was our turning on the jets. Yes, we have a wheelbarrow and holocaust cloak, but the team also has a good set of legs for a mix of endurance and elite pace - I want to see more of it.
Off of today, I'd like to think that Amiss and Noddy won't see much WAFL this year.

I’m impressed with his tackling. Actually sticks a tackle better than you’d expect given his frame. He’s still only 21.

Some performances are that bad, you need months of good games in the reserves to even be considered. Henry.......if any Vic team wants him, I'll drive from Melbourne, pick him up and drop him off myself with a smile.

I think Shuey going off helped us, they got a good advantage out having him drive off halfback in the 1st. But we attacked back as much as we defended, which was a nice change from the first two rounds.

Agreed. The third was puzzling and concerning. Obviously Eagles played well but we went into our shells.
We need to play with more assertiveness and swagger. As much as the last 10 minutes of the fourth quarter were junk time it was good to see us pile on the goals and celebrate them.
I've defended Henry for a while but I'd be quite happy for Johnno to take his place on the wing. Keep Aish in the middle and have Johnno/NOD/Hughes running the wings for a few games
