So if we’d won today we’d be 46 points. Carlton, currently in second are on 44.Not really, I'm just being realistic. Some might think negative, but it's just being realistic
Last I checked 46 > 44?

Shh. Don’t say thisTabs would have kicked those goals
I'm not really a subscriber to the "game has gone past X", rather being particularly specific to the sub role and what impact it can have. Even last week his sub cameo showed Walters lacked the verve you'd hope to get from fresh legs near the end of a game.I believe he was sub last week?
4 touches for 2 goals?
He did his job but I agree the game has gone past him
Also wouldn’t have got himself the chances thoughTabs would have kicked those goals
Shhh…Also wouldn’t have got himself the chances though
- Walters deserves a farewell game and that’s all - he’s slow and weak out there now. Not at the level anymore. A great champion but his time is up.
Agree with all of this.Newsflash doomsayers. This game was hard and brutal. We did plenty to win, but bad kicking is bad footy, and those sodas at key moments from Amiss/Voss etc hurt.
That's one of the best and hard-at-it midfield units going, and we matched them more or less. Wrong end of a few calls but got some too.
Those calling for Fyfe's head, we'd have missed his grunt today, trust me. Walters though seems to have gone on a bit long. Didn't lose us the game though.
Darcy would've been the difference for sure. Jackson needs to work on his marks, been off all year in that respect.
Don't think many teams would've stood up to that today down there. Dust off and look forward to playing Melbourne minus Gawn and Petracca.
We'll make finals, and we can win on the road.

The only team that is a lock is the Swans, many of the others are very inconsistent from week to week.Looks like Sydney, Brisbane, and Carlton are practically locked in the top 4 for now. We have games vs Port, GWS, Geel and Ess still to come. Those will determine if we make the top 4 more than this game.
How??People questioning Max Kings huge contract on the way
Luke Jacksons is far more embarrassing

Last I checked, our run home is harder than Carltons. So if we’d won today we’d be 46 points. Carlton, currently in second are on 44.
Last I checked 46 > 44?
Well we clearly aren’t because Tasmania was too cold or whatever excuse it was this weekLast I checked, our run home is harder than Carltons.
Anymore smartass replies? Or you still pretending we're actually a top 2 team?
Last I checked, our run home is harder than Carltons.
Doing a fair bit of that ourselves. People actually think the umpiring is corrupt, or some sort of AFL conspiracy Truth is that they're not very good and more likely to be swayed by a home crowd. We kick our goals and the umpires have no influence.Typical Hawthorn fans, love to play victim.
Get used to it as it will be happening most years when the Tasmanian club enters the AFL.But think of the crowds!
Never understood why vic media said we had an easy run home. Brisbane, Carlton, Geelong, Essendon have better fixtures, but apparently ours is easy. This is something I don't get either, why were pundits and people saying we had an easy run home? I looked at it and thought I must be going crazy. This was well before even last weekend.
It looked easy a month ago when Geelong, Port and GWS were playing like shit and the Hawks hadn't won 7 of their last 9.This is something I don't get either, why were pundits and people saying we had an easy run home? I looked at it and thought I must be going crazy. This was well before even last weekend.
I think the hawks are well coached and organised and playing above their talent level a bit because of that.
I’d have concerns long term that they still may not have enough talent to win flags in future. They will probably finish 10th now and get one more player at pick 12-13 but is their more or less talent there than say, North Melbourne?
