It did create opportunities. Just they fumbled and didn't execute. Missed shots from young and dropped chest Mark from amiss in the opening
Very early it did create some opportunities. I thought it became clear very early that the conditions weren't right for that style of play. Maddening.

I didn’t think the handball game was a total disaster. It mostly broke down due to a fumble.
What I don’t like is that our games seem to lurch from one poorly executed style to another. That’s a real worry, we seem to be massively over correcting with each successive game.

Horrible loss....
A fair bit of negatives...
- Alex Pearce was horrible. Actually the whole backline sucked. So many turnovers it's not funny.
- yeah Schulz had a bad game. As I said last season he kicked 30 goals. Take away today's game he at least kicked a goal a game. He has kicked 9 or 10 goals from 7 games.
-midfield transition still sucks.
Despite today's game being horrible, there were a few positives.
- Sam Switkowski showed that he is best 22 kicking a couple of set shot goals.
- Jaeger O Meara did ok kicked a couple of set shot goals too.
- Walters kicked a goal of the year contender.
- I feared a 60-90 point loss. Glad it didn't happen.
The team is garbage
. But just like those tough years of 2017-19, there's some hope and positives to see

All those going on about MJ, if you were only watching on TV you would have missed all the off the ball stuff he did. Quite often he was deep in defence completely unmarked and where does Ryan kick to, a contest of course which we invariably lost. He has footy smarts gets into good position but is often overlooked.
Same with Amiss, he leads really well but is ignored so we can again kick to a contest, dumb football

Amiss is really one of the few positives this season.

It was fine. Fastest moving the ball in a long time. Then a shit handball or a fumble, and Brisbane just didn’t hesitate to boot the ball to territory. Just threw it on the boot knowing Pearce and Cox v Daniher and Hipwood
If Fremantle were going to play that game, has to be a spare man helping in the one on ones. Rely so much on Pearce and Cox beating their opponents.

If Alex Pearce and Brennan cox are still gonna be this bad, I would seriously consider getting Tobe Watson or Taylin Duman back at Freo in the mid season draft.

I'm not denying it.... But he is at least 2 or 3 years away to take that mantle of being that spear head.
People do bag out Taberner on here.
I would love Amiss to be in his prime and be still kicking 3 or 4 goals a game being double teamed while a Sam Sturt or Lachie Schulz is freed up on a forward flank kicking 2 or 3 goals
