We were a criminal rabble that good players escaped suffocation from, this could've gone on for years. And yet somehow what we have in front us is a crisp freshness none of us could've predicted.

Same with Tabs tonight. Was absolutely mauled in contests and got nothing from the umpires but he presented all day and was important for our structure.

100% agree about Fredericks. Selfless role to stay out wide or last man and we simply didn’t find him tonight but he drags his man away from the contest and that opens it up for others. That sort of stuff surely gets noticed and is part of the prep and something the team is willing to wear.

I just can’t get over the amount of room for improvement we have. Just more games together and some decisions are made that fraction faster.

The group defense is simply elite.
