I love how these AFL trade articles always setup with the premise "And Richmond get nothing". So I tell you what, if we lose Markov for nothing, I'll personally go down to Punt Rd and setup 5 Rnds of boxing on Neil Balmes nutsack (or whoever made the decision). Markov for Max King or no trade.

Charlie Constable anyone? Every time he’s played for Geelong I’ve been impressed, but they just refuse to play him over the older guys. Wouldn’t cost that much imo. He’d be a plug and play straight up next year imo. Gives our midfield an injection of young talent

They may do, or they may realize letting a player walk through his FA rights rather than start a fight will be the sort of thing the club needs to repair relationships.

No player who wants out wants to see the club bitter, they leave and kick up a fuss

Whether or not essendon match depends on the compo, and (Even though I massively rate the acquisition) I can't see lions offering a bloke averaging 5 games a season enough for round 1.
