The EBA back then was still over $10m. Average wage of about $250k. That you think a player in the top 10 paid players at the club wouldn't be on $400k is mystifying. There's about zero chance that he wasn't.
You can choose to believe what you want, particularly as everyone knows your agenda.

Bottom line is he has not been on $400K no matter what you say...

All you do is repeat your belief with no evidence whatsoever. And you're supposed to be a numbers man. He was in the top 10 paid players at the club. That means that there's no chance that he was on less than $400k. If you argued they back ended his deal, you'd be worth listening to. Put just repeating the same bullshit, with no logic provided is a very weak argument. Top 10 paid player prior to re-signing. Again, why would he have taken a pay cut at that time? Maybe try and mount an actual argument instead of running your agenda on this. Not on $400k, not on $400k, I'm Kane McGoodwin and Dmac's not on $400k, not on $400k.

I have been told by someone in the know... but keep on your soap opera... it's not like it became boring 3 years ago. ;)

I laughed
You would, but then you claim to know more about posters than they do. ;)

Really couldn't give a toss what you believe!

I have nothing to gain on what Mackay is earning...

Wow wife just told me Belinda had here 30th Bday party today. Didn't realise she was two years older than Rory.
How long have they been together?

If his wife can talk him into accompanying her to see Ed F****** Sheeran, then she can talk him into moving back to Melbourne. Big red flag

I'm not an Ed fan but I don't imagine it would be completely uncommon for a 20 something year old male to actually like his music and want to go to his concert.

If Sloane DOES stay, do we seriously consider trading B. CROUCH?

Obviously he's a talent, but he's either injured or trying to work his way into form

Given none of our players received the CBA increase, 400K for the last 2 years isn't too bad. It was the 2 before that......

Reality is that they played him nearly every week anyway, so $400k isn't far off the mark. It looked much worse when it looked like there was going to be 2 and a half years of SANFL footy at that price. But he's had a bit of luck with injuries to competitors, he's played a few really good games and had patches of decent form. In fact, the only time I argued against his selection last year was when he came straight back in after being travelling emergency. Prior to that and after his return from SANFL action, I was comfortable with his selection.
