Yes. And Dusty, whilst still dangerous, isn’t the player he was either. Bolton is now their player that’s more likely to tear you apart.
Luckily, his set shot goal kicking is suspect.

Dusty is missing a few of those clutch shots for goal and getting tackled more and more, or not hitting those unbelievably skillful passes as frequently as he did. I could definitely see him trade out for GWS or Sydney next year.

I don't see the need to post on an opposition board, especially Richmond's.
I’ve did maybe once or twice to praise an opposition team. But we get a bit precious and sensitive (all clubs) i think if an opposition poster comes on and posts something. Not a big deal

The dilemma with him is that he's a fine shut down defender, Jack may be cooked but he's still dangerous and he has no impact.. So all good there... BUT Kola also seems to think he's an elite ball user off half back, he loves getting the ball and trying to bite off that short kick on the 45 at half back, and is an absolute liability doing so.. He stopped his man getting goals yesterday, he created a few for them as well unfortunately.

That main howler he cut in front of Smith to mark the ball and instantly I swore at him, because he is literally the last player on our team you want in that situation (Blitz isn't great either but at least after looking confused for 20 seconds he just belts it long down the line)
You just knew Kola would try a short kick and cook it and sure as s**t it happened.

He's been good this year but * he is rage inducing
I think blitz has really improved that aspect of his game this year. And fewer mistakes in general from him.

Rewatch of the game does anyone know what those flashing red and blue lights were behind the goal when Henry was kicking for the match?
That was the police come to arrest Tommy Stewart for attempted murder. Apparently they'd been reading the Richmond game day thread and were concerned based on the hype.

Why's Jack Henry known as the lizard?

It’s intentional, high, severe …. straight to the tribunal. You can’t actually get much worse than that act. Run past the ball and knock a defenceless player unconscious before he hits the ground. It was out of character for Stewart, but he’s getting more than 3 x weeks, as he should.

Can't get much worse?

Houli KO'ing Lamb behind play got him a two week ban.

Short memories you lot have. Not surprising really.

Hate to confide this with you, but Tigers are now officially my most hated team again. It was Hawthorn for many years, but I go back to the late 60's and recall being almost violated by their feral supporters as a kid, and they are at that level again. Sad that a fan-base can incite that much hatred, but they do. Never experienced a more entitled pack of supporters.
Totally agree with your post too- I am guilty many weeks of thinking we don't look like a top 4 team, but truth is , right now , we are there, and we have had to beat good teams at the G.
Hoping we don't have to play them again this year.
Are you saying we should make the grand final now? If not it’s a flop? Beat Dees in two weeks we should win the flag right?

I learned my lesson after a North game years ago once where I basically said ‘bad luck but I thought your players really cracked in and had a go, stick with them because it will start to turn.’ I got abused and basically called a c*** for being ‘patronising.’

Big jump Cc.
I only said we are currently in the 4.
We lose Stewart for maybe 4 weeks and play 3 very competitive teams over that period.
Carlton I rate.
Demons are the team to beat.
Port away will test us.
I'll be happy right now if we beat NM. The more wins we accumulate, the better the chance of making finals.
What I did say is I have not reated us as a top 4 team, and tbh, still don't, but let's take each sweek as it comes.

I was extremely sure Miers was going to have a shocker as I knew it would be a physical game.
I walked away pleasantly surprised

Hes not creating scoreboard pressure the way stengle does and close helps with but defensively he is working very hard. If however rohan comes back in and i assume danger will need to play a mid/fwd split when he returns miers spot is in danger as he is the last fwd picked but he is working hard ill give him that.

Ports season will be over by then i think we will beat them easily.
Melbourne at home is 50/50 as is carlton.

On your last sentence its a misnomer as compared to the top 4 teams of years gone by none of geelong bris carlton freo syd and richmond deserve to be top 4 all have significant weaknesses but three will finish top 4. Its a weak comp this year.

Jack Riewoldt should retire effective immediately. No denying that he is a club legend and has contributed to the teams success. The last few weeks he hasn't been even competed in a contest. He can't jump for the ball. At ground level he is slow. Unfortunately, all the years of playing at the highest level with all the knocks etc has taken its toll on a weary body. It's time to inject some youth and some energy. Thanks for all your service and devotion to the club, but it's time to acknowledge that you are no longer playing at the desired level. Would much rather have seen Chol or Coleman Jones start the season instead.

Go and post it on your own club's board, and see how long you last.
