Haha. I agree. And for me it's not so much what Demott says as how he says it. Every comment dripping with FIGJAM.NEED to get out of the early Sunday arvo timeslot. Dermott twice in three weeks has almost broken me. No more, I beg.
depends how bad the fracture is, but in terms of limitations it is more a case of limited movement and stiffness and weakness with the muscles in your hand.Scotty saying it's Stengle's arm, not his wrist. So possibly a fractured arm?
Would be suprised if he didnt play on Friday. as sun or in 22. back to back 6 day breaks with travel surely is the time to actually manages some midfielders and bring in someone fresh (Bruhn and Simpson had this week off). Remembering that vfl has bye this week tooKilled it in the vfl last week. Will be back in soon i suspect.
Looks like a player making mistakes because he's frightened of making a mistake,no flow or freedom in his game. The disposal wasn't great, but I was even more surprised by some of his fumbling - never seemed to completely regain his best touch after breaking his thumb a couple of times.
I won't give up on him yet, a couple of years ago he looked to be close to our most promising player.
At his best he's shown some real defensive grit and at one point he had just about the best side-step in the biz. Been a while since we've seen that, but 2023 is still young and he has time to find confidence and form.
Another option would be to play Tuohy forward and play Dempsey on a wing. It's not the same kind of replacement but it's still a super potent forwardline so they'll rejig the structure.
For Dempsey to get in 1 of those 2 have to miss out IMO, and they won't.
are they playing dempsey as a midfielder? i see he is racking up 20+ touches a game now. If they are, i like it.I don't think Dempsey gets Stengles spot, Rohan and Ollie just both play.

I was thinking Dempsey might be a good option for next week with Stengle out. He can sneak a goal and can run very good. Dempsey and Holmes on the wings might very well be our future.I don't think Dempsey gets Stengles spot, Rohan and Ollie just both play.

Easy to rack up possessions when subbed on when everything is going right and the opposition is cooked, people are going to tell it like it is on an open forum, hes been woeful this year.Re Parfitt
I've read similar sprays about Kolo, Sav, Miers, and others.
Parfitt has not lost skill.
Simply form, CONFIDENCE, and momentum.
He will redeem himself.
Anger on these threads directed at a single player as if he is the only culprit is LAME.
Nobody was miffed when he was subbed on in the GF, and scored a goal and had more possessions than Buddy or Heeney
Shows how much a player's confidence can affect performance. He knows that he is under increased pressure for his position and has not responded well.Re Parfitt

I agree... it’s certainly hard to make a case that his form warrants a position in the team... and even as sub as he has come on twice as sub and looked like a good ordinary GFL level player. On Parfitt, he was absolutely terrible and I doubt we’ll see him in the team for a while. Time to give someone who actually wants to play a turn
Chanel 7 said Stengle will be 4-6 weeksStengle sent to hospital for scans..
4-6 is not too bad.Chanel 7 said Stengle will be 4-6 weeks
I don't think I saw Stanley singing the song either?

Yes and no- it’s pretty different from the AFL and you need to adjust to the pace.Isn't thats what the VFL is for?
