It should bring the club together a bit more too...
The more curtain raisers there are, the more people get to watch it... and IMO it keeps the players together, both AFL, VFL and AFLW... it should benefit us as a club well IMO.

I know we had a couple of double header matches last year with the VFLW matches played before the AFL matches, but they used St Mary's oval for their match - hopefully with this change it means that if there are any VFLW matches scheduled as a "double-header", can now actually be played on the main oval as a genuine double header. It will surely draw a better crowd for the women, and also any VFL double header matches

With Hawkins and Menzel in good touch I cant see them taking Crameri into rd one on the back of one VFL practice game anyway,he's one that realy need a strong preseason to play early imo.

Agree, except for the fact Menzel isn't a tall forward.
I liked Blicavs as a forward/second ruck today and it's something I hope the club looks at early, even though we lack talls down back without Henderson.
I wonder where does this mean where his at than??? Gee our list of injurys don't look good at this stage... Maybe I shouldn't of asked to start a thread on 2018 injury list...
