Agree, except for the fact Menzel isn't a tall forward.
I liked Blicavs as a forward/second ruck today and it's something I hope the club looks at early, even though we lack talls down back without Henderson.
he kinda plays like one though so it's not too outlandish to say match committee might be choosing between the two of them. then again, they played taylor, menzel and hawkins together for most of last year so it probably just comes down to whether or not they think that structure was a success or not.

I like blicavs as a forward, it alleviates his major weakness (slow decision making) and I feel like he tends to kick goals in first quarters a lot? I might just be imagining that.

Is anyone going to be at the game? Of course there's no way to follow it outside of just getting the occasional pity tweet :(
I'll be there... And my VFL updates are superb ;)

Provided I meet the terms set aside by my lovely (having the kids ready for bed before I go)

Very very happy Nakia (the footballer, not the BF poster) is playing.

Me too! Dear God let he be fit all season! :praying::praying::praying:

Also excited to see Crameri play, know little about him + hoping he lives up to all the good things said about him.

Good things? ... whats a reasonable expectation form him ... 25 goals for the year? History is always a good ref point. For most of his career he has averaged better than 1.5 goals a game so 25 is a fair tally id say.

A goal per game is probably a pass mark but not a great return. He’d need to average up towards 1.5 to 2 goals per game (35-45 goals for the year) to give us the impact we need.

Id say 1.5 would give us 25 goals... I dont see him playing more than 15 games.
Then should the pass mark be number of games not goals?
Pass mark for me 18 games and finish the season on the field.
Forget that I thought you were talking about Cocky not Crameri, yeah 25 goals would be a pass.

Sorry for being vague. 18 games would have Cram a regular selection.. I guess then the club would be happy with he is doing.

If Crameri can hold his spot in the team then I’m not as concerned with how many goals he kicks. Hawkins is looking very good, if Crameri or someone else can take some heat of Hawk they’ve done their job.
Hawkins and Menzel will kick goals, if fit Crameri should be good for a goal as well. We need to have the other players also doing their role to provide the opportunities.
