yeah, apparently he also made team of the year at WAFL level in 2017 when on their list. Maybe his game doesn't translate well at AFL level, not sure.

He was averaging nearly 5 marks a game at AFL level, so he can obviously mark the ball at that level... hmmm
He would be someone to look at. But we have got Henderson, House, Gardner and Black ( who is out for 12 months ) that fit that position which they currently not getting a game as our Key Defenders . It be hard to see a guy like Collins cracking a game when there all not getting a game ( and I wish House had a chance as well to show what his got)

Yeah, agreed, its not a position we need to worry about.

Key Forward (replacement for TJ), goal kicking small/mid forward, outside class user in midfield, and ruck are probably the key areas of focus next off-season.

how could anyone playing this game be avail for thursdays gane.
You can see the planning going into this. (AFL Director):"Right, we'll make the Cats play a home game against Richmond at the MCG then we'll give them an away game at the Docklands and make their VFL team play on a Sunday before sending them to Sydney on the Thursday, ha they won't be able to use any of their players in the VFL team, then we'll repeat that for another week, Sunday VFL, Thursday interstate AFL game, ha! that should screw them up, hey Gill can we make the Cats play a home game in Brisbane?".

Bloody strong side. Even better that we can watch it.
Should be a good win against a so-so standalone club.
Where do we watch it Doc?

We will persevere with Cockatoo- he lit it up in the midfield over here before the injury.
Rare combination of speed , power , aggression and skill, will be given every chance

He has been given every chance... just how long do you feel we should continue to give him every chance... The time he has been on the list now he should be in the side and doing it. Now having said that... his best has looked better than Petrricca.

He is 21. Tim Kelly was not even close to be drafted at that age. Cockatoo has time.

does anyone know if the stream of today's game will be archived? got things to do today so it would be handy to be able to catch it later.

I think he gets as long as it takes to either make it or accept the body can’t handle the rigour
Importantly the latest injury being the pcl was impact related , not soft tissue which has been the main concern to date.

Fair point. He was drafted young... but I want some games.. he need to show his body can handle enough work to play regularly
Not often will I say this about a player, but Cocky is an exception he needs until the body is ready to to curb the gung ho attitude,90 to 95%effort with the occasional put the foot down and build a string of games and let the body catch up with the enthusiasm.
