Basic structures are 2 KPDs, 2 Rucks, 2 KPFs (you can get away with 1KPF but its not ideal)

we played 1 KPD, 2 Rucks, 1 KPF

If they didnt want to play Smith and Blicavs wasnt playing KPD then another KPD should have come in.

It's just too big an exploit to have someone as good as Roughead matching up on a Zuthrie/O'Connor. 10cm, 20kg and 200+ games experience

Absolutely gutted like everyone else. Full credit to Hawthorn though.

What a great experience for our kids. Kelly, Parfitt, Gregson, O’Connor, Zuthrie, Parsons, Fogarty and Henry will learn and grow so much for being a part of that game.

Serious questions need to be asked of Cam Guthrie in particular and also Menegola. We’re beyond asking questions of Stanley; he’s finished.

Taylor and Henderson can’t come back soon enough.

Were not composed enough at end but seriously this was a pretty good performance considering that our backline is a long way from being at it's best. Besides Stewart and 2E there is not much in the way of a settled line up. Mitchell got too much of the ball in the second half. Both of these sides will improve. Our coach needs to improve but I am not going there today. Can't believe how much hate Geelong gets on these forums by salty melty campaigners. Would have been a steel if we had won but I am certainly not buying the idea the umpires helped Geelong back into this match.

Our coaches and mc made so many horrific mistakes this round that would normally doom a side. And yet we lost by a point. It gives me heart that we can win the flag. the only problem is how do you fix the mc and coaches. you can drop bad players and send them a message. how do you do that to the coaches and mc?

He was one of the key drivers in our Q4 comeback, even if he did make some mistakes - like GAJ.

gees to many people just blaming there usual go to players regardless of how they played.

zac guthrie and tuohy were pretty good today.

blicavs was ok given the roles he was given.

stanley was pretty awful but should never of played first ruck, especially after being injured and coming back as a forward last week.

I'm not doing that. I love Cocky but he did nothing today, barely laid a tackle.
I like Gregson too but he was piss weak.
Usually stick up for the debs too but did nothing unfortunately.
I think everyone knows my thoughts on Menegola haha.
