Would AFLPA allow a behavioural clause in contracts?

Is DeGoey saying he can't behave...?
Seems he thought some of the clauses were too vague and broadly worded.

Also playing into it would be Collingwood treatment of Treloar and Grundy.

If the clause is vague enough, could Collingwood terminate it when the cost becomes slightly inconvenient? instead of trading him and paying some of his contract? I wouldn't put it past them to do that.

JDG has a fireman (and his brother in law) as an agent.

There's not a whole lot of professional level decisions being made there.

Blind leading the blind there. Cannot understand the basis upon which you'd place representation duties in the hands of a novice, other than JDG wanting to do it on the cheap.

That's my take. Let's say he gets injured in year three and they have a million bucks sitting on their books. Treloar and Grundy show they aren't shy about moving those dollars off. Imagine if they could terminate him for racking up half a dozen parking tickets

Geelong winning the way they did this year reminds me so much of the Blues in 95..

Too old, too slow and too good winning the flag on the end of a 16 game winning streak. Only difference it netted us flag 16 as opposed to 10.

However, I cannot see 30 years of capitulation on their horizon....irrespective of their age.

They just had to announce it before Joel, didn’t they? Selwood only started speaking about 5 minutes ago.

It's a race for the media to see who is 1st to 'break' the news.

Surprising it wasn't Tom Browne. :laughv1:

My post above is Joel's live presser from 6 mins ago & it's still going.

I think it was about 1:14PM when Joel came out to speak. Pretty pathetic tbh.

Congrats to BB.

We have now had 5 Carlton players win the Sandover medal.

Can anyone name the last Carlton player to win one?

Isn’t it Blaine Boekhorst? Or did you mean the first Carlton player to win one? :p
