RABBLE.jpeg

That was the biggest crowd that Rabble from Linton St had all year. :laughv1:
They had less of a crowd at their Elimination final.

Ranked 13th in attendances this year with an overall average crowd attendance of 32,425 (not incl elim final)

Can you repost this? I can’t see anything.

That's odd.

St Kilda is keen for a second MCG blockbuster against a big Melbourne Club after attracting a bumper crowd (69,255) for it's clash against Essendon for its 150th year anniversary clash this year.

Wishing Ben all the best. It's great for him that he gets the money, but along with that will come pressure from many levels, not least the media pile on throughout the year reminding all that he will be among the highest, of not the highest paid, player in the league.
you missed the biggest issue..........

Eeeeh, storm in a teacup. The $850k a year is already overs, how they structure it is secondary and somewhat irrelevant.

If anything, assuming they have money to burn this coming season then it's arguably a smart move.

Let's assume the $850k is exaggerated (the way we do when the media reports our player salaries). It's probably $750k with incentives.

Spread that over 6 years and it's $4.5mil.

But pay $1.5mil of that in year one and he's only earning $3mil over the remaining 5 years. $600k a year for a free agent KPP isn't unreasonable at all. He's been injury prone, but presumably they've done their medicals and reckon they can manage him.

It's basically a $900k signing bonus and a $600k yearly salary. If that got them his signature over Sydney, and if they would have been under the salary cap floor without it, then it's not hurting them.

Yep, if you have the room in your cap then it's just good business to shuffle your salary around like this.

It only becomes an issue if the player involved decides he wants to leave at the back end of his deal such as Bryce Gibbs wanting to leave us after his deal was heavily front ended.
