Why would baker choose WC? Baffles me

What makes you say that about Bolton? Strange move by WC, not much draft capital, desperately need to bring in kids and will need a good pick for Baker.

They will also be out of contention for a few more years still

I think a 1st and a 2nd, with a 1st minimum being required for Baker, for them to only go to the draft with one 1st, after several years of rebuilding is crazy to me.

I’ve found their LM strategy the past 3 years to be terrible, hanging on to ageing players, not loading up on picks, now going after Baker.

For ages he be thought they don’t seem to grasp where they’re at or the concept of rebuilding

I'll miss the big drunk. Haven't watched it daily for years but I think the fact he was so unprofessional actually made it a point of difference with every other show. He was passionate but not polished, a very rare commodity these days.

To demonstrate, earlier this year, he was 15 mins late to the show and had to walk on while it was live on air. Haven't seen that before, did laugh at him being mocked for his own stupidity.

They were trying not to go the scorched earth route like we did, Melbourne and North Melbourne also…hindsight suggests they should have but you live and die by your decisions you make at the time you make them

But that's the whole point, it's not getting a shake up.

They're just moving the deck chairs. Putting someone in that is already doing another show isn't a shake up.

I said the AFL media not 360 there is a lot of movement within the AFL media at the moment ie shake up

Yes! The least self conscious of all the tv folk. Quiite terrible but loved his passion.

Typical sooks. The AFL created the draft for unsuccessful clubs like StKilda and yet they are still finding things to whine with.
They just want everything handed to them - always have and always will. Pathetic club.

Bassat sounds like an absolute knob, yes the system is broken and father/sons should be bid on by their position of merit, but the AFL can't just change it when list managers have planned years in advance. Brisbane will pick up at least 2 very talented kids in the draft for chump change this year but don't go spruiking during the GF, "I told you so" Everyone there knew what was in store.

As for telling Josh Battle not to roll up to the BnF, seriously mate, that did more damage to the clubs image than it did to Josh Battles feeling

I think it's why they lasted this long. There's not another media pundit I can think of that would join that show and not turn it into yet another bland footy show. We've got plenty of those already.

Great question. If Whateley is still there, it would need a Cornes type (not him) to replace Robbo.
