The ducking campaigner got named again? Cmon surely they could find one player who had a better year than the bad half of Dangerwood...

Just saw on Seven news that one D.Martin will be resigning with the Tiges.....for me...absolutely no surprises about that.

Now that we won't have any more saturation coverage on that subject........aside from one J.Kelly.....who or what is the next never ending speculation story?

Hey Sainters, I remember hearing a while back that St. Kilda we're going to play a couple of games in a newly renovated Auckland stadium from 2018 onwards. Haven't heard much about it since then and there isn't really any information about the subject on google. Does anyone know if there are still future plans for the Saints in NZ or has the experiment been dropped?
Cheers and good luck for next season

Which is exactly the same reason i wish idiot posters here would stop naming sides with Josh Kelly in them.
Totally agree. We have to stop getting ahead of ourselves.

JK will need to put in at least four 30 possession games at Sandy before we think about rewarding him with a senior spot!

Damn you!! The karma gods will screw the deal because of all you assholes.

Good to see the AFL hand Essendon an award for their ill gotten gains. Shameless campaigners, watch them try to umpire an Essendon win in the finals, they have done everything they can to restock the Bombers coffers and make them successful on field. They have never been punished for drug cheating, they have been punished for administration errors.

If it was us or the Roos who had done the drug cheating we'd have been closed down. They fined them and handed back the money in competitive balance and took some draft picks off them then give them pick one as a sorry when a real organisation made some of their players sit out. They then got to keep their top up players too. Disgrace of a sporting organisation.

I would really like the AFL to make a statement on the "settlements" that were made with their players, as legal compensation.

Were there safeguards in place to ensure that :
Club "Hey Dyson, want to sign this 5 year contract for $500 000 per year ".
Player "I don't know its a bit light on for a superhero like myself".
Club " No problem just sue us for 4 million and we'll fix you up "

Smith, Brown, Jones, Fletcher, Thommo, Dal, Ball, Schneider and Chips all playing.
Don't forget Damien Monckhorst!! From the dark days. Does Lindsay Gilbee count?

Only one I've actually seen touch the ball ore than twice has been Joel Smith. Tony Brown kicked a goal and set another up. Luke Ball and Dal have been squibbing it all around the all stars.

I tell you what. Watching Jimmy Bartel, Gilbee and Chris Johnson load up the Barrel from outside 50m, I wouldn't mind us dishing it out to a few of our blokes to unwind.

Couldn't be any worse then letting them take a set shot directly in front 30m out anyway, with how accurate we are.

Think that Danny Sexton stole your caoching manual before our 2017 season started.

Agreed!! The AFL's integrity is close to non-existent these days and as for Essendon and their fans, FFS, spare me the false dawn ejaculations.

I haven't seen much of it but saw Browny getting plenty of it and using it well on his left. Brought back good memories, but seeing Smithy weave his magic and look as good on his left as his right just made me sad.

He was better than Billings but gone at 20yo.

I would give serious consideration to trading our two firsts for a 20yo injury-free version of Smith. He would fit our needs exceptionally well and had a lot more runs on the board at that age than the likes of Kelly and JB.
