If the Bulldogs can steal 4th spot they feel like a genuine chance of upsetting Freo. The irressistable force meeting the immovable object. Freo fans would have to feel nervous, much like we did in 2008-2010 despite our domination.

Teams with that "X Factor" are hard to control for 120 minutes.

Adelaide now primed for a home final as well.

Freo v Bulldogs
WCE v Hawthorn
Sydney v GWS*
Adelaide v Richmond

What a finals series that would setup!!

*Might be North or Geelong but GWS have a very soft run home.

Bulldogs averaging nearly 100 points on docklands and 70 elsewhere. Their game falls apart once they leave the covered roof. See game vs geelong.

Once I heard Deledio was out I quickly changed my tip. Richmond just can't win without him.

It's amazing how important he is to that side.

A #1 ruck (Goldstein, Jacobs etc) or a KPP like Roo and I could understand but an outside mid turned hit up half forward flanker? Really?

I was watching the game thinking how little real class Richmond have, take out Lids and Martin is their only really classy player, I reckon Cotch is overrated never hurts opposition

He completely changes the way they move the ball because he is so dynamic when he is on song. Wouldnt have mattered last night though. They got absolutely walloped in the centre.

One aspect I can see of a good team is that they hold their structure. Sydney, WCE, Hawks. There may be small sections of the game where the ball isnt going their way that they will push their forwards up the ground, but they hold off for as long as they can. Richmond rolled over last night with their structures.

Not just Deledio, but they were missing Edwards as well and it really showed, ball movement was really poor and they were forced into playing this awful style. Credit to Hardwick, the Tigs should've lost by more when you consider how dominant the Crows were.

They only reason they were so close is because the Crows kicked 22 behinds.

That's really more of an indictment on the Crows, rather than credit to the Tiges. Adelaide should have buried them, but couldn't kick straight.

Dogs raw bone the Power by 64 points the week after they (the Power) spank us by 63 points...

Are we that bad, the Dogs that good, or is Port totally bipolar?
If Port brought the pressure they had last week to the dogs, it would have been a hugely different story (imo of course). I think that Saints being known as the 'pressure kings' is starting to become a bit of a curse (for this season a least, it'll likely hold us in better stead going forward). Teams know that if they just out pressure us (GWS, Port are where I've noticed this), we eventually just crumble because that's our only weapon

Isaac Heeney... Wow...

Will be Swans best midfielder in just another 2 years time easily, and that's a huge call considering JK, KJ, Hanners, Parker, Mitchell etc.

Kids a freak - his hands at the pickup, ability to baulk, read play... People creaming themselves over Gus Brayshaw, settle, and watch Heeney closely. He's a ripper

Dogs in the top four... Wow.
I know. Amazing.

Actually, it's got quite a few positives for us. First of all, our recruiting team were clearly on the right track trying to get Bevo as Director of Coaching. Secondly, many have said we've only beaten teams at our level - well, actually, we beat a top 4 team.

And should have beaten them twice...

After watching the Dogs one thing I've got to say is that Jack Billings must be a cracker and next year will be sensational if he really is better than Bontempelli.

We don't need him to be better than Bont we just need him to be a very, very good player, which I'm confident he will be. You'll send yourself insane if you get the shits if players taken later in the draft end up better than our picks.

You blokes are a huge chance. Freo hate playing you blokes at Etihad
