Why are you playing him in the back pocket?

That’s my position, he will be at full forward. Hence I will be at the other end of the ground
Was just kidding ;) But that's on me, tone deaf not realising it wouldn't transmit across the internet. Go well, what an experience for ya! Hope he doesn't bust out the guitar during the song

The funny thing will be, we have a young kid 20 years old who is normally plays midfield but played full forward last week and kicked 6. he is actually a similar mould to Robbo just on 6 foot, big leap and can do some freakish things. He would of been 6-7 years old when Robbo was at his peak, and probably has no idea who he is......lets see who gets the goal square.

thank **** for that. I want blooooood!

We've hired a year 10 work experience kid to help out in the box and a professional orange slicer for the dug out. Top 4 here we come.

Not at all. We could sack people at random and face Freo with Viney as captain/coach.
I mean, yes sure, there are plenty of other things that they could do. But pretty much everything more dramatic than the chosen option would reek of panic and ruin potential sponsorship negotiations, membership numbers, new training facility negotiations, trading negotiations, player retention negotiations, new assistant coach negotiations, new performance manger negotiations, etc...

But don’t you ever yearn to see what MFC can achieve if we embrace FULL chaos? I kind of do. We’re a Greek tragedy only partly told at the moment.

Hi music nerds:

Probably mentioned this one before but Wild Combination: A Portrait of Arthur Russell stops streaming on the 4:3 platform tonight. Highly recommended squeezing it in if you can, I saw it last night and it's awesome.

Had no idea Arthur Russell worked with the Modern Lovers and David Byrne...

Thanks Toump. I’m building my library of music - I tend to build it old school because I like to look at shelves of cds and albums and feel happy knowing you can just reach out and pull an album from the shelf. iTunes is great, but doesn’t really give you the same feeling.

I was thinking about Arthur Russell when I watched that. Slightly sad story for me (and even more so for him) is the first time I heard of him, and got interested in his music, was because he died. I lived in America for years around 91 to 94, and at some point me and the rest of my quartet were going to this Masterclass thing with a hot shit professional quartet. Emerson I think - anyway the whole thing got called off because half the people involved had just heard that Russell had died. I hadn’t heard of him before - and I was pretty up myself as some kind of cross-genre musical expert (I wasn’t an expert, i was a massive w***er classical player that thought I was ‘rad’ because I’d done some stuff with jazz players).

Anyhoo, I got stuck into research about this guy because lots of people around me were cut up he had died. It was well worth my while, but I do sort of wish I’d found out about him before he died. I guess he probs doesn’t mind though.

I actually think we might be seeing it now!

- last year we started with the chaos ball game plan
- this year, chaos list management, chaos coaching, random coaching changes, removal of game plan, zero coaching

I’m not sure I like the results though....

Didn't realise you got to travel as a muso, that's awesome. I'd love to spend a few years in the US.

I got switched onto Arthur Russell because I spent my twenties shoving acid and pills into my gob at Revolver. Odd to think someone so integral to house music was also revered in the classical & avant-garde worlds.

Good luck with the music collection! I'm buried with tapes and CD's over here :)
