So unfortunately Robbo has injured his knee and won’t be playing with my local today :(

But we have Stephen tip rat Milne as a replacement
I see he had an impact

For all the doomsdayers on here predicting we’d be on the bottom of the ladder after Carlton was going to beat the dogs, and the suns over the saints. And we were going to keep losing.

We are now 2 games clear of the bottom

If we were an English national sporting team, presumably all involved would be given OBEs for this magnificent feat.

I have not seen one Melbourne supporter say that we will finish last

There has been some posters on here predicting we would be last after this round - given that Carlton would beat Doggies, GC would beat the saints both din't happen.

In other news Tom Papley is out of contract at the end of year, Vic clubs are circling. IMO he should be target number 1 for our list.

Well no it was fact. Plus both results were close as **** it really was a couple goal swing difference to us being bottom over the bye

It was a hypothetical not a fact...i see your point and in no way is it an achievement to avoid 18th place albeit for one week during the bye rounds but IMO we are not that bad.

We aren't that bad no but there was a very realistically scenario that had us last. It didn't miss by much

So OMac has gone and done a 3 week training session to get stronger and hopefully helps him find form. Id start by teaching him how to read the play but thats me

He was actually quite good at that early last season, it's being outbodied this season that has ****ed him. Not surprised to hear he was another who missed most of the pre-season.

Link here for anyone who want to read it:

That's quite long, as far as training sessions go.
