While some may feel that pick 70 is unders for Thurlow, consider how the trades for GHS & McCarthy went and we are probably even or ahead across the 3 trades.

It would have been very easy for both Brisbane & GC to say they'll pick up either player as a delisted free agent or via the PSD (McCarthy would have had to go via the draft), but the fact they didn't & the fact we got picks in those trades which we have already used on players, is surely a tick for Geelong.
