If Liam Ryan was drafted with Pick 26, its a fair chance that Sokol will go inside Top 35 btw.
Which means if we want a mid-sized natural goal kicker in Taheny or Sokol, we may need to pull the trigger early. Sokol under Pick 30, Taheny under Pick 24.
Crows for sure will be sniffiing with Pick 23 or 28 for Taheny, as they will probably trade out Jenkins and Betts.

Last year they spent 2 first rounders on McHenry and Jones as small forwards. They should be stocked for small/medium forwards.

EDIT - plus Danger would have more shots at goal outside the forward 50 than in it...which would be a good thing!

Scooter couldn't be what he was capable of at one stage due to injury but he tried hard, did the team thing in the reserves this year, he got paid ok for his years. A break even result.

What wording did we use last year when we delisted Black?

Could be a case of supporting Scooter to help him continue his AFL career at a new club, and if nothing eventuates then we can discuss VFL options.

I think it would be weird at this stage to make an appointment about VFL options or commitments

If Henderson is spending most of his time in the 2nds then our defence would be working really well. I see it as a win-win

I know Hendo had a poor pre-season, but he spent most of the year in the twos. I saw him a couple of times in those games and thought his reaction time was slow and his decision making was 'off'. I don't see him in our next GF team so I'd prefer to make room for someone who is likely to be there. Frankly, it's much easier to find bods who can play in the back half than elsewhere.
