Why not Andrew Phillips....looks better than the rucks we have at present and wants to move....
If we could get Lewis Taylor for a late pick I would has pace and kicks goals
We don't have anyone with real pace that's why I think he could helpNot a difference maker & would just add to our plethora of smalls who can’t kick over a jam tin. Really don’t think there are many fringe players out there that are going to make a difference for us, improvement has to mainly come from within, young players taking the leap & some tweaks in game style & philosophy, apologies if that comes off a bit dismissive.
Also I think Simpson is quite similar to Taylor in style though not as quick.
I"d much rather have Butler or Gray than TaylorWe don't have anyone with real pace that's why I think he could help

Not better than Stanley imo.
Agreed...i was meaning the others...Phillips is very mobile also. OK...only played half a dozen games but had career high kicks, handballs, marks, hit outs, clearances and tackles...
This is a player on the improve. Worth a look IMO.
Archie Smith. THe only thing he has on Z Smith is age. Aside from that, I am not sure he is any good.
Nonetheless, here is his stats in NEAFL. He improved his average disposals in 2019, but his average HOs dropped.
I'm not sure on him, haven't watched him enough to conclude, but I don't think its anything to write home about.
The Worpel love/regret needs to be tempered somewhat. Some of these kids get thrown into situations and lift. Worpel was always a ball winner but with Tom Mitchell going out he got his chance in the guts and took it. Walsh as another example plays more centre bounces than established stars. Kudos to them but Worpel at Geelong wouldn't be getting anywhere near the opportunity I suspect.
Perhaps we play kids out of position and stunt their development. Weaker clubs can't afford to be so cute. Perhaps they are mistakes we made. Perhaps we take a slow and steady approach which doesn't work. Valid questions. I'm not regretting Constable and Fogarty yet though.
