Yeah but we had 4 rucks this year and we barely used 3 of them. Surely 3 plus Sav is enough. My theory is unless rucks are quality mature age or a youngster with potential why waste list spots on them.
When you look at out forward line with Ablett Menagola dalhaus parfitt rohan and Hawkins, only Rohan has the pace, we got exposed in the half forward line in the finals so something will need to change

Cocky would be handy if they can get him fit and injury free.

Our forward line only works at Kardina Park, because it's so narrow.
We get so badly exposed at every other ground with a lack of pace.

The forward line functions better when those further up the ground decide to move the ball into the forward line quickly. The problem is that they often decide not to do this.

Because we are not quick enough.
We don't have much run out of defence, Clark showed us how it should be done and once we lost him it all went down hill.
2e did it well in his first season or two but his roll changed for what ever reason

If we run on the assumption that we get west coasts first in a TK trade then the roar has Luke Jackson and Deven Robertson at those picks in their phantom. ESPN has Deven Robertson and Fisher McAsey at those picks. Cal Twomey has Luke Jackson and Will Day.

By popular vote, welcome to Geelong Deven Robertson and Luke Jackson.

Any forwardline wants to have the ball place to its advantage ... if we play more up the middle it will not matter what ground we are on..
But we do need to add more goal kicking talent

Id not bet that Wells see it the same way as others ...

Freo might take Robertson or Jackson at 6/7 though.

Be a an early call I'd have thought be maybe they might. freo might like the idea of an other ruck.

Robertson oozes leadership and has good pedigree. Jackson i am unsure how much they want a ruck.

We need work rate on the wings, teams can congest the middle of the ground knowing that we can't threaten a switch, which forces us down the line. Our player were forced into a small area, on a turnover Collingwood ran into heaps of space while West Coast passed through our zone as if it wasn't there by using the full width of the ground. Being able to play wide will let us go through the middle more which will make our forward line more efficient.

Why not Andrew Phillips....looks better than the rucks we have at present and wants to move....
