Sometimes its is best to do something for the player
Any clue on what we are potentially trading out?Henry deal getting much closer to being done I'm hearing.
What’s Trout from Meltons view on this?According to "Lachlan" on Trade Radio, Geelong players are given free meat from a butcher and free dental work for the life of their playing contracts....
They have but in the last year they have both lost a yard or two.Wild take. They’ve played in about 100 games together for about 70 wins!
I agree... If we do have 3 live picks I'd think that 38 would be used though.
Anyway... yes, happy for Sav to go If it helps us get our targets... Even if it is only slightly helping.
Will absolutely have just about zero key position depth though... Would assume we'd pick up a cheap KPP to have as a backup if we get desperate.
Any clue on what we are potentially trading out?
The obvious is our #18.
The dream is we get it done somehow whilst still holding onto #18 and our F1... (+ the #7 that we will end up getting).
I want it all... Queen Style.
I do too. It's no secret I'm a huge fan of Esava's and will be shattered to see him in other colours.Esava Ratugolea is a rare breed. 198cm, 108kg of mostly muscle and moves like a big cat. And he's popular at the club. I would be keeping him and giving him every opportunity to develop. Big men like Sav take more time to develop and he missed a lot of football after he broke his ankle/leg. He is only 24 years old. I remember Tomahawk at that age was frustrating as well. I hope he stays.
Agree with all that.
Fyi 3 live picks is only if sav is traded and simpson delist and re rookie as of today we can use 1 pick only.
If sav goes we have to get the best mature kpd we can in the rookie draft.

But if he's decided it's in his own best interests to seek a trade, it's understandable as he seems to have dropped out of the selection frame. The club will make it happen.
Whichever way, I hope we get to see him playing at the highest level consistently, as he is a delight to watch.
Nah no word other than pick 18 most likely being involved.Any clue on what we are potentially trading out?

Yep. The same amount of trades would get done in 3-5 days IMO. 9-days just gives time for BS and politics to take over with every club knowing they have time up their sleeve.I look forward to when this trade period is over and done with in one week. This circus drags on ....
Ken Hinkley’s bodyguard.Has Port said what position it wants Ratugolea to play?
Sure, our deals still have to be finalised, but I'm kind of happy how things are panning out...
I disagree. They are endurance machines. Neither has ever relied on pace. They have but in the last year they have both lost a yard or two.
Didn't winty used to have an avatar about that?Ken Hinkley’s bodyguard.
