Don’t think so. Looks more like a KPF that can pinch hit in the ruck to me. Can’t see him racking up enough ball to play as a ruck rover.

I think Blitz for a fair bit of his time was a guy running around in a riddler suit. Where is his best role position etc. What he is now is probably not easy to replicate so I agree.. I doubt Neale will be the next Blitz. Neal looks the more tradition talented forward ruck..

Neale could well become the next Blicavs, as he has the tank albeit no-one will be able to equal Blicavs in that department. But he can run very well for his size, is a much better kick, can pinch-hit in the ruck and drift back like Blicavs to help out in defence. Yes..? No...?

I think he'll be a KPF who will be capable of getting up and down the ground based on his athleticism , similar to what Cameron does.
Can see him being a F50 ruck post Hawkins.
Another preseason alongside SDK , build a stronger core and hold those marks he gets his hands to and we cold have a ripper on our hands.
Sublime kicking technique for such a big guy...............

Henry Hustwaite can play mid or on the back line, probably more down back, though may not be tall enough to to fill a key post.

And he's a left-footer! I keep playing this note, I know; but 2 of our key finals players were - Smith and Cameron!

I think part of the apprehension from cats fans about some of the players we’re trading in is that we’ve become accustomed to trading in established players.
Trading in 20 year olds is exciting for what they could be but there is also a bigger risk that they won’t make it.
We will have a big group of young players after this draft and trade period. With the players drafted over the last couple of years and the new ones.

The odds are a lot of them won’t become stars. But we’re giving ourselves a better chance to unearth some talent by casting a wide net.
The development at the club will give them the best chance to be the best player they can.

They are so recent..and we have afl form to judge them by... my guess is both players were on our lists but taken before our pick

Like him...and he can play as a big mid. The trouble is once we pick at 7 ... he will not be there at our next pick.

I'm thoroughly enjoying all the complaining from opposition fans and some media about how well Geelong is positioned this trade period.

Same. Absolutely loving it. Especially people far and wide who mocked us 12 months ago or when we took Norm in trade week two years ago. Inspired stuff. I can only hope some blow a gasket over it all!!!

He is another. Who do you like as the best late pick tall. I wish id seen more of them. The combine is happening today..usuall someone go's bang on measuements..if someone like Lemmey tests well who could be well within our needs.

There’s another kid that played for SA that looked quite good against Vic Metro or Country (can’t recall his name). More a KPD/ruck though than a forward I think.

You only need to see the difference between our board and say the pies board, this trade period, to see just how chill and happy we all are right now, haha

That's my way of looking at it too. Ideally, we had Jez as a FA, and then Tanner, Ollie and Max as who we wanted to draft in our pick range.

Come this year, we'll have all of them - plus 2 years of development and exposed form in all of them as well - so we know they're not a bust. Can't get much better than that!

We don't have Ollie yet. The hypocrites need to bring their drinks to the party instead of drinking everyone else's grog and leaving with a 6 pack.
