I'd have gone with "the good , the bad and the port fan"
We were shit, theres no getting around it, but we still beat port playing the best they have all year, and we had a 6 day break and were down on rotations with smith concussed early.

It's a win. I think it's better to grind them out now we have percentage than continue with 100 point floggings that are not going to happen in finals.

Not enough good contributors, M.Crouch is our mid who can say he played well. Our forward line couldn't kick a goal for a quarter and some of our defenders played their worst games for the season.

Anyone bitching about tonight needs a swift kick up the bum. We needed that. And we needed an off night in front of goals to show that it could cost us a game if we kick like we did (especially Q2)

That was a red hot game of football, make no mistake, and despite that, we still managed to create a lot of chances. That's the worst return you're gonna see from the boys, as far as goals vs behinds are concerned, so it's actually a great sign that even on bad kicking for goal nights we can still beat a team applying a lot of pressure.
A really good hit out leading into finals. It was actually a blessing for us that Port brought the heat and gave us a taste of high pressure football to sharpen up. We'll only be better for that hit out and hopefully will sharpen us up for what to expect next week against West Coast.
